Ok, so how do you activate the special moves?
When the word SPECIAL appears on the screen, click the game screen before it disappears. The SPECIAL box in the top right corner (normally) indicates what character you need to come into contact with in order to activate one.

Just beat my own high score. At juuuuust above 6000m. This was after I knew how to use the specials, but before I knew how to take advantage of the aerial crashes. (I thank my distance on combo-crashing into the Meganekko twice. Best height: 152~)
Damn, twice I managed to activate specials, I just had to randomly bounced to the glasses girl.
Edit : My latest is 2370m. The game making me hate meganekkos!

Do you know how to use Aerials?
I save my red aerials in order to prevent Meganekko stoppage.

Whoa, weird special. I don't remember the exact circumstances to activate it, but the effect was to send me flying horizontally for several hundred metres. Weird.
Oh, and just for fun, I tried going for as short a distance as possible. Success: 0m (It turns out that being hit 90 degrees at the start is possible.)
Parachute Death Sentence Ver. Nanaca. You get it by activating the purple haired girl's special (pops up every 10 people, or the last 10 meters every 100 meters ex. 90m, 190m, 290m etc.) on a certain girl. I don't remember which one, but each girl has a different effect, with the guys not getting any specials, even when the special bar says you should..

Ah, yeah! I just managed a score of 9379.51 meters. That's right: OVER 9000!
Not sure if you figured it out, but you can also use aerials when the word is blue. It is blue when you're going up, red when you're going down. Grey when you're either too high or too low.
