To clarify it's on hiatus till November but once it's back it'll have double episodes to compensate...at least that's how I'm understanding it.

Man I hate Pawnee. I hope Leslie moves out and on to bigger and better things in a series finale or something.

I'd not be surprised if Councilman Jamm did tinker with the votes in the end.

Also, if anything its former Eagleton who are the assholes.

I always expected her to lose the recall. It is a chance for Leslie to win another election for the finale or to progress to something even bigger.

I have finally caught up on this show. I love it, I love everyone in it. I really hate everyone else in Pawnee though.

So Parks and Rec just ended in a perfect way but apparently it's coming back for another season. That episode could've easily been the series finale so I'm pretty surprised it's still sticking around. I don't know where they can go after a distant finale like that.

I wonder if they'll continue after the Time Skip or show what happened in-between the Time Skip.

I think its going to be before the epilogue. Pregnant Leslie and her running up her new job are pretty good thing to cover.

Yes, this was so perfect for a grand finale. Hope this doesn't turn into Scrubs season 9 :/

I'm okay with the series continuing, it should keep going until Leslie becomes president and Ron Swanson punches Frank Underwood's teeth in.

...oh god now I want Kevin Spacey to guest star in P&R.

Epilogue was all just a dream.

Yeah, that had a serious Grand Finale vibe (so much so that I added Grand Finale to the trope page as I thought it was the final season. Oops!).

Pretty much every character had their arc come to a close. Tom's Bistro was up and running, Donna was giving the nice guy a shot, Ron had become a family man (while still staying Ron), Leslie has her job, Ben's the creator of a popular tabletop game... only April and Andy really need more resolution, in my mind (ironic, given they were actually in the epilogue).

Well I remember reading in another article that most of the season finales since season 3 have been written as series finales because of the show's iffy ratings. But I remember hearing before the last episode aired that it had been renewed.

Anyways, just finished catching up. I can't believe they're doing another season! That ending was very finale-y.

This is great. We're seeing Andy's show as it's broadcast in the show's universe.

The second episode tonight was honestly pretty weak, but I suppose necessary for tying up loose ends. But Johnny Karate...that was pure gold through and through.
