Well, as Emeriin said, things are looking good so far on the page. And Jordan doesn't seem too annoyed that his website now has a trope page, least for now.
Course, this could also stem from the fact they've now found a new website to target.
Anyone ever heard of Reviewtopia? You will now.
Also, I've been meaning to find some trope to add for BS's Magic Mix Tapes, for those unaware, the Magic Mixtapes, for lack of a better term, are a sort of psuedo-You Tube poop with clips mashed from music videos, to game shows, to anime and cartoons, wrestling promos and whatnot.
Granted, I'm sure Jordan and Mike have a better term, but in the meantime, Here's the list for those interested.
I rather like Diamanda Hagan (hammy, sociopathic women: <3) and every "Iron Liz is really a man" joke makes me twitch but you're right, it does look like they've got a brand new toy to throw around.

I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.Speaking of Diamanda, she actually went and posted on BS's regarding their criticism.
And for the most part, it's been relatively civil.
I must say, since they turned their guns on people I don't personally care about, I'm enjoying Busy Street a lot more.
Actually, Jordan is usually right in his judgments, which is why they're so scorching. Asalieri, on the other hand, comes off as a less-articulate, jealous neckbeard who goes nuclear whenever somebody reacts harshly to his 'criticism'.
But anyway. Here's me lifting a glass to BS and hoping they get more pageviews.

I'm a skeptical squirrelYou know Jordan doesn't write all the articles, right? I did the Toku stuff :( And Stu's summer vacation #3, which I am very proud of.
Also I am not an Internet Tough guy and I will punch you in the face if you say otherwise >:(

YO YO YO! U CANT C ME! BOUT TO SPIT SUMTIN STOOPID!Oh yeah? Well... You're a chicken!
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatSettle down children.
Gerpy, if you feel there's anything that can be added or taken out of the page, go ahead.
He's not a chicken, he's a turkey!
Go away Batdan, us Irate Gamer fanboys don't care for any of your petty douchebaggery.
Oh no you can keep the internet tough guy thing in I'm sure some of our fans are internet tough guys, Asa might come off a little strongly sometimes but seriously, we're all laid back guys, especially me.
You wanna see a real internet tough guy though? Check out That Dude with the Shades, one of the leaders of Reviewtopia.

YO YO YO! U CANT C ME! BOUT TO SPIT SUMTIN STOOPID!This "Shades" guy sounds like as much of a control freak as Spoony is, yet doesn't have the odd issues that he did that could explain some of it.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI remember that guy.
Read my stories!Since they aren't making fun of crap I'm a fan boy of, I like them now.
Yep.
BTW: I really only came here to say I'm enjoying the BS trope page. More so the new Dinosaur trope I had no idea existed.
EDIT:
Wait... hang on:
Oh really? Well, we only have ever stated that AVGN/TGWTG aren't serious reviewers, but other people take them as serious reviews and need to stop. But we take them too seriously because we mock them? Logic.
Oh well, at this point, it doesn't matter. I still love the page.

So, any other trope or editing suggestion I should add?
Can't get anything past you eh, Djm? I admitted it. Your rapier wit is enviable, though.
I'm a skeptical squirrelDoes anyone know of a trope (aside from Youtube Poop), than can be added for the Magic Mixtapes?
Youtube Poop isn't a trope.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Fair enough.
But I do feel we need to find something to add the Mixtapes to the page. And I feel calling them Youtube Poop is just too obvious, and will probably invite further wrath by Jordan for lumping his site with such an generalization.
You guys know that "Ad Homonym" is slowly becoming the new "If you don't like it, Don't Watch it." right?
By the way, I was wondering you guys realized that we also like to point out the whole acceptable target thing with Irate Gamer and Game Dude when Angry Joe could be labelled just as much of a rip-off. Or Spoony. Angry Joe wants to be considered a serious reviewer, you know that right?
Also, I really want to know what TV Tropes opinion is on Reviewtopia. Granted I'll admit, (and I do get shit for it) I really enjoy Apollo Z Hack's reviews, if only because you can tell that he loves the stuff he reviews and that he plans to be a film maker in the future.
What're your thoughts?
And yeah, Jordan will feel insulted if you call his mixtapes youtube poops.

YO YO YO! U CANT C ME! BOUT TO SPIT SUMTIN STOOPID!I have no idea why you misspelled an easy phrase like ad hominem.
edited 21st Mar '11 3:33:53 PM by Scardoll
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Ah… heheh. Heheheheheh. No. 'Don't Like, Don't Watch.' is basically the equivalent to sticking your fingers in your ears and going 'lalalalala' when somebody criticizes something you like. Ad Hominem, on the other, is an extremely well known logical fallacy where one acts like some fact about the person writing the argument invalidates the argument, when in fact it does no such thing. When somebody pulls that out, it means that they are abandoning all pretence at civil and logical argument.
Well, I would say that saying 'Don't Like Don't Watch' is of equivalent value to using an Ad Hominem attack, if that's what you mean, but even then, Ad Hominen came first.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."
I was expecting to get up this morning and find that it had been edit warred to death, so I'm pleasantly surprised. I know it's early but it seems like a good mix right now, not "we're all about free speech and TGWTG are just meanies" and not "they're all horrible trolls who should burn" either.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.
