General Sonic The Hedgehog thread

Sonic Adventure! Although Sonic Adventure 2 almost ties it. Adventure 2 was my first Sonic game!

Sonic Rush.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles for 2D, Sonic Unleashed (HD Version) for 3D.

S3&K or Sonic CD, depending on the day. CD never gets enough love. For 3D? Probably Generations.

2, 3 and Knuckles, Adventure 2, Battle, Advance 1, and Colors!

But my all-time favorite is Sonic Shuffle and the Chao raising. ^_^

Sonic CD or Sonic 2. Sonic Colors is up there too.

Generations; a little bit of everything I ever liked about Sonic.

Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Sonic 3, Generations, and Sonic CD, for me, probably.

Sonic 2, Adventure, CD, Sonic Triple Trouble, and Tails Adventure. Rest are equally about as enjoyable.

fir 3D ny favs are the Adventure series...because SA 2 was my third Sonic game.

Favorites? Um... probably all of them. I spent the most time on the Genesis games, and the Dreamcast titles, but it'd be easier for me to list the ones that wouldn't be on my favorites list than the other way around.

Top favorites in no order; Sonic the Hedgehog 2(Megadrive), Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Battle, Sonic Adventure 2, Tails Adventure, Sonic Adventure 1

Games I still like, but aren't really favorites; Sonic Heroes, Sonic Lost World, Sonic Rivals, Sonic Rivals 2, Sonic 2006, Sonic R, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic Rush Adventure, Sonic 1, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic & The Black Knight, Olympic Games

Games I find mediocre/don't much like at all; Sonic Advance Trilogy, Sonic Rush, Sonic Riders(all), Sonic & The Secret Rings, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors(Wii version only), Sonic Generations(3DS version only), Tails' Triple Trouble

Anything else I can't remember or have not played yet.

Anyway, Adventure 2 and Generations are what come to mind, with BK being an honorable mention.

My personal favourite would be SA 2, and it wasn't my first game. In fact, it was one of the most recent Sonic games I played, thanks to the HD re-release on PSN.

Yes, BK is Black Knight, although I guess you're asking the person above me.

Speaking of CD and Adventure, it just occurred to me that Amy was probably doing a little combat therapy with Metal Overlord over getting kidnapped back in the day. For the record, in the five-second flashback we get in Adventure, it's nothing specific if I remember correctly? Heh, just thought of a little Fridge Brilliance. Amy's partly so enraged and defiant towards the Zero robot because she's been captured by one before, and is afraid of it happening again.

I need to play that at some point.

Although, maybe I should try finishing the older ones first.

So I tried to play the original version of Sonic Adventure today.

I learned that there are a few parts where the game will fling you to your death if you don't have the more precise control of a control stick. I can't get past Sonic's Windy Valley because of that.
