They didn't make Big dumb...he's just simple, it's in his theme song, mang. Don't really remember him as a "character" being considered Scrappy.

Besides having downward spines...it really wouldn't have made much of a difference. Those cameras were really good.

It wouldn't have made a difference, it would just have been more believable for the whole mistaking Shadow for Sonic thing, IMO.

Big, like Cream, is rather plain compared to the rest of the cast. I will admit though if he did have a more laid back personality he might of been received better. Part of his problem was his voice just made him sound dumb....

The thing I will give Big credit for as Sonic Heroes and Sonic Chronicles shows he definitely will defend friends in a heartbeat. He is disturbingly good at it too considering he just uses a fishing pole.

He did have a laid-back personality...once again, that was apart of his theme.

The fishing game-play was the only problem...and the voice I guess. Sonic Chronicles is the only game he's portrayed as dimwitted and that game wasn't even written by Sonic Team.

Still, he's a surprisingly good fighter. Although I guess you can say the same for Cream as well

Big's second and third prototypes don't convey gentleness in the slightest. If anything, they seem to have been toying with the idea of introducing Vector's current personality with an earlier and different character.

A character whose premise would still be intrinsically tied to the fishing sub-plot.

At any rate, impressively silent here regarding the 26th anniversary game.

We don't know anything about the new mainline Sonic game other than "it exists."

That's the most genki remix of EGGMAN I've heard recently.

IIRC, SilvaGunner used to rip the actual, non-edited music from games before the channel was deleted and turned into TimmyTurnersDad (actual name) which was also deleted and morphed into GilvaSunner. I believe the current joke rips are in protest of the copyright rules.

And I'm 100% with 0dd on this, it looks really uncanny and wrong AND like a goof troop character all at the same time.

I'm guessing he's referring to the one on the top right, cause that one looks like Boom!Sonic if he was like an old Disney cartoon character.
