(before leaving Homura's room, heading back to her own... her smile turning into a pensive frown)

Well— I just got back here like two days ago. Or three. Haven't really been keeping count...

Homura: (just nods as Lansie leaves)

"Hypnotized me, locked me in the bathroom and stomped on my stomach after pulling me to the ground."

I, uh, see... (Keep in mind, this girl's smart enough to get a degree in alchemy. Somehow, she lacks a bit of common sense.)

Once the villainous treehugger escapes into the local forest, Kale instinctively rushes to Caulifla's aid as she lies belly first on the ground. Grabbing a hold of her mentor, she begins to cry out in anguish for failing to intervene in time. She's not a hero, not even to her own mentor. That's going to change...

"Kale..."

The Great Shy-ya-Woman looks down to face her mentor, her face already drenched and tensing with loosely-restrained anger.

"Don't... Kale...I'm serious. Save that...later, I promise..."

Clenching her grip harder on Caulifla, she attempts to use her breathing exercises to calm down. In addition, she detaches one of her hands to slam the ground with a fist, creating a small denture radius around them.

"Don't...blame...yourself. It's...my...fault. Bug's pretty...strong. I like...that. That's...why I'm gonna.. "

"I'm s-sorry, Sis...please. We're going...to do it...together. He...H-he wants me too..."

For once, Kale's reasonably adamant about a choice. She's not going to like everything the likely training will entail (heck, she reasonably scared on the inside), but she needs really needs to become a better version of herself. The suit is merely a start, while this is the real catalyst. With that in mind, Kale picks up Caulifla from the ground, and heads off to The Room.

So, I'm just gonna...help people how I can until she drops that sword that's hanging over my head."
