(Bryce may get a moment's warning of a low-pitched warbling noise - or an inexplicable feeling of dread - from behind before Blind!Sayaka will suddenly dash towards Bryce...'s left to confront it.)

He flinches and cowers, grabbing his head and losing his eyes, waiting for a death that never came. He opened his eyes and looked behind him.

(Bryce may catch sight of a black orb flying off away from them into the woods. He will most probably see bald monks with bad reception
some distance away but slowly closing in, another black orb forming in its hands. His newfound defender is "facing" it, sword ready to strike.)

(Whelp, the fighting is starting to follow Bryce even as he tries to flee. Not close enough for him to be in immediate danger, but enough for the occasional small black orb or broken pieces of sword to fly past him.)
