I suppose it's only fair to explain something to you. You probably already inferred that I'm not human, but the exact details of the people I hail from are something I have yet to share with anyone.

The Shapeshifters of my world are extremely selfish by nature, and enjoy causing trouble for people whenever possible. This appears to be an innate trait we all have to some degree or another. Every now and then there are those of us whose minds are wired in such a way that our psychology resembles that of a human moreso than the average Shapeshifter. I was one such individual, but even I still falter.
