I made you imagine it to be empty, and so- to you- it was.

Would you say it's a stretch, to then come into the knowledge that I have convinced a man that he is blind before?

A manipulation of the senses. Fascinating. The ability to do so is nonexistent, as far as I know, in my world.

I have indeed.

You see, I don't necessarily need a weapon when I'm walking on the street.

If a man comes up to me with a pistol, I'm not in danger. Because he can't pull the trigger on me, he is compelled not to shoot- and instead to drop his weapon.

But then, you might wonder, why I would need assistants or associates... Well- even I can't do what I do alone. And- of course- I can't command a man to drop his weapon if I'm asleep.

Though there are a select few in my world that have quite the Iron Wills...

It is Mysticism, yes.

Or if you prefer to call it- the occult.

There are many, many different practices.

Usually it's linked to a geographical or ethnic culture.

Even Ancient Egypt has it's own practices that last to this day, as evidenced by some powerful artifacts from there.

But then in the East, you can have such spectacles as a man leaping up a building as if he had wings, or a man in Siberia conjuring a blizzard to use at his advantage.

I see. I know not of the places you have mentioned, but I can safely say such acts cannot be performed at will like you have displayed where I am from.
