And Celebration is still two days away >_<
Recent news about Battlefront being a timed Xbox One exclusive gave me a scare for a bit, but fortunately it's not as bad as some parts of the internet are making it out to be. Star Wars: Battlefront isn't a timed exclusive to Xbox One. From a certain point of view.
It's not Xbox One that gets the exclusive day-one release only, but rather users of EA Access that benefit. This may potentially mean that PC players can be able to get in on the day-one release action too, provided they're subscribing to the service. Still sucks in a sense though, because there's now the chance that EA may start playing favorites with the inevitable DLC packs.
EA already had Dragon Age Inquisition's first DLC be exclusive to Xbox for a few months so Microsoft seems to be really desperate to get things first so that more people will buy their console instead of the PS 4 which has waaaaay more users right now.
Is anyone ready for the inevitable backlash when show off the game and it has suppression, overpowered snipers, squad spawning, four classes and first person only?
I mean to be honesty I'm just kinda assuming that it's gonna play like Battlefield 3 and 4 (and he'll I wouldn't even have a problem with that) but honestly at this point what should DICE do? Try to make it super faithful to the old Battlefront, make it like BF 3 and 4 or try to find somewhere in between? (to be honest I wouldn't mind squad spawning or FPS only at all in something that plays like B Front.)
Also did DICE ever talk to Mike Zaimont? (the guy who basically single handedly designed the whole hero system in B Front 2) for the heroes in the new B Front? The heroes were cool but I'm worried DICE will try to fix what isn't broken and ruin it, though we still don't even know if there are gonna be heroes yet (esp if they go for a more realistic Battlefield esque tone)

Have a sneaky little teaser:
Tomorrow? Dammit!
Alleged GameStop leak says Nov. 17 release.

We have a countdown.
So it should be around 12:30 for the reveal time, judging from the countdown.
I... I am ready. Hopefully it won't be pushed out as a F 2 P gimmick, but y'know... it could be rather fun. I am looking forward to the space battles again, hoping they don't cut it up and release it as "ground battles" and SPACE DLC.
Ok, gripping aside, I am so looking forward to this. LOVED BF 2. Just hope they keep the added swarms and don't cut it down to JUST human players fighting it out, COD like with SW skins. But still. Ready for this. Oh. So. Ready.
What about multiplayer games on the scale of BF 3 and 4...along with AI troops? Can you imagine that?! :D
All I'm hoping for is local multiplayer. My fondest Battlefront memories were of playing it with my little brother, who was a bossy, teamkilling fucktard.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Oh, a Free LC thing for the movie as a tie-in? Cool.
Yeah, they're going the Battlefield route of tons of players with no AI.
Eh, it's basically the same as the old games :P At least you'll be able to see where you're being shot at from.

Here is to hoping that they keep the battlefront health pool and not stick with the battlefield style die in one hit 99.9% of the time to everything.
Being able to take a couple of shots from light arms was the best thing about battlefront.

That looks pretty as hell.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectNo real campaign, battles in space, no aiming down sights and just four planets.

No space battles? Awwwww :C
The series of short missions route sounds like how Battlefront 1 went, though, so that's good.
Also if there are really battle modes with just eight players I hope they put bots in those at least.

Woooooooow.
Though considering what Dice has done with their games before I'm not surprised it looks so good.
