Pretty sure GO! is on it's second thread because that became an issue and the New Ben 10 thread isn't that toxic.
I feel like we've been here before.
People are saying you're being whiny because you decided to pick a fight a month after the fact. That gives the impression you're just looking for something to be offended about.
I find the wank going on in the Teen Titans Go's hatedom to be kinda silly and hilarious, but I don't go out of my way to enter into threads about it to accuse the people in there of being rude or needing to be called out.
x4 You're fucking kidding me are you?
Nobody here is saying that people can't criticize a popular show here. Hell, Nightshade post you got up in arms about is merely him stating how he disagree with another user for stating that the art style ruins the entire show for him. In that regards, that is a valid criticism as the show's art is Love It or Hate It at best as I can see why people are turn off about that. However, the comment claims that the art alone ruins the show entirely in terms of quality; which is definitely up for debate as people can argue on how the story is well written or how fluid the action sequences are.
But wait, I'm being silly here for talking about Spectacular Spider-Man discussions here. Let's talk about other shows discussions. While the Teen Titans Go doesn't bat an eye when people criticize the show, let's not pretend that there aren't people there who is allowed to give praise. Hell, I see people commenting to others to no devolve the discussion into complaints more than the time they tell people to not like any aspects of the show. And Nu Ben 10, well, everybody is neutral on that show.
TL;DR Spreading half truths and misinformation just to start shit is bullshit!
Hey guys what's going- oh. Oh. Oh dear...
All this mess, just because of a silly comment I made how long ago? In my defense, "you are wrong and your opinion is wrong" is a very common Internet stock joke reaction, and I said it all in good humour, but yeah I definitely should have potholed that under Humor Mode.
So yeah, I sincerely apologise for that, but I have to agree with others that The Lemster Pju needs to stop acting so hysterical and blowing things way out of proportion. And aw shucks guys, thanks for defending my non-existent honour
Can we get back to topic now? Please.
Hmmm, hmm hmm hmm-hmm. Hmmm-hmmm hmm hmm. Spiderman.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Speaking of wanting more, any fic recs for this show in particular? I think Joe Merl's Looking The Other Way is a good oneshot.
Fighting Crime, Spinning Webs is probably my favorite Spectacular fic overall, though it is rather long and eventually goes beyond just Spidey's mythos.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.By thebanddragoness? Yeah, it is pretty good. My only complaint is that it seems the plot with Harry dropped off the face of the earth, but then again that could just be my preference for my fav character.
Spectacular fics don't really treat Harry well in general. I get having him be less sympathetic and having the plot veer him off the slippery slope makes sense, given how the last season ended, but it's rare to find a fic that even does that well.
Most just have him jump straight to baby kicking evil, establish he never cared about Peter and Gwen at all, and have him Goblin-up in the first few pages so that Peter and Gwen can get together as fast as possible.
Fighting Crime, Spinning Webs does his Heel Turn rather well, but as you said kind of forgets about him immediately after.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yeah, the only fics that seem to do him any justice are one-shots or fics that barely have him in it. And those aspects really don't apply to most season 3 continuations.
It's even more striking when you look at the radio play, and how Weisman wrote Harry as trying to set up Peter with another girl. Whereas so many fics tend to ignore that Gwen and Peter did screw up to make that tangled situation as well, and that the trio does have a genuine friendship which started this whole thing.
Oh yeah, Harry in the Radio Play walked a fine line between rubbing in his relationship in front of Peter and genuinely helping him out with a date for the Spring Break trip. Liz is definitely less friendly, also rubbing in his immediate relationship with Jason (the hunky redhead she paired up in Midsummer Night's Dream), though Peter was definitely a terrible boyfriend throughout season two.
It's a shame not a lot of people pay attention to the first Radio Play. It might be non-canon, but a lot of the stuff regarding Peter's relationships, the Spring Break trip, and the statuses of certain villains definitely builds on the previous two seasons and gives some idea of where season three would've headed.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).There is a radio play!? Someone link please!
Here it is, I recommend skipping past the video intro to 3:45. Also, you might need to turn up the volume.
There's a script on Ask Greg for it if you can't hear.
I know! The characterization is all there, along with a couple of plot points I could definitely see being in s3.
Spider-Man... and... Gargoyles?
How did I never know about this?!
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Huh, I'm surprised everyone on this thread didn't already know about the radio play. It's non-canon, for obvious reasons, but according to the tibits about what s3 would have looked like and Word of Greg himself, a lot of the plot points are what would have been in s3.
Ugh, now I'm yearning for more!
Hence why I asked around for good Spectacular Spider-Man fanfics. It is our only way to fill the void.
Josh Keaton is still by far the best Spider-voice.
For those who have listened to the Radio Play, what do you think was on the video Norman Osborn left behind for Harry?
The unreveal there caused me physical distress!
For real! On one hand, the radio play answers a few questions- on the other it brings up more.
Regarding the Radio Play, I think it's probably something about taking over the company one day, if that video is meant to be a will. Also, it could be something related to the Spider-Tracers, since that was going to be a plot point.
Also, an additional question: Who do you think was the impostor Green Goblin, if not Harry?
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).
It's only considered "whining" or "trolling" by certain people when it's an unpopular opinion.
But if it was something that a lot of people disliked, such as Teen Titans GO or that new Ben 10 show? "Shoot, yeah. Go ahead and complain about it."
