Saw it at Ubi's conference. It blew me away.
Jonah FalconWhat doesn't?
Well, if TS 4 is in the works, someone else will be publishing it I guess.
Did he...tell you the definition of insanity?

Finally! Some random enemy soldiers that i will actually take gleeful delight in butchering horribly.
Also, DOWNWARD THRUST MOTHERFUCKER!
Bleye knows Sabers. No need to come into a thread to insult the man. Also, anyone else watch the unveiling of this on G4? Cuz the bad cencoring was quite funny.
This game looks great.
Power corrupts. Knowledge is Power. Study hard. Be evil.
"Look, i gotta fucking *BEEP*-evel with you asswipe *BEEP*-ots to listen to me before i fuckin' *BEEEP*-ose my mind. Shit *BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP* fuckin-*BEEEEEEEEEEEEP*"

Bleye knows Sabers.Isn't G4 a cable network and all their censoring is self censoring and not the Federal Censorship commission?
Wonder how this will go story wise, given 2 was a Non-Linear Sequel.

Forget the innocent women and children getting murdered and tortured, there's BAD WORDS afoot!
Bleye knows Sabers.Wonder if this'll get an SDK.
Also:
"This is where Jason realizes how much trouble he's in."
NAW.
I'm getting Heart Of Darkness/Lord Of The Flies vibes.
Was Jack Mackerel. | i rite gud^^^Pretty much. I remember one instance on AOTS where Olivia said shit and only realized that it didn't get beeped because it was so unexpected. XD
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987The ending of the trailer creeped me out. I think the trailer was implying he escaped before.
Yeah, this looks even more brutal than usual Far Cry fair. And 2 got pretty freakin' brutal. Like is said though, that just makes me want to shoot the bad guys more.
Bleye knows Sabers.I wonder if they'll pull a homefront in the intro.
I can't shake the feeling that Vaus' (That's his name, right?) definition of insanity doubles as the writers insulting players who think that trying the same tactics for every scenario is going to get them anywhere in the game. Just can't help but feel like that.
I think the player character escaped him before. Vaus mentioned he killed you once before and his repetition of the did I ever tell you the defiintion of insanity line at the end of the trailer says our guy has escaped more then once.
I think he might've just been saying that in reference to how easily he snuck up on him at the beginning of the trailer. But I'm just guessing as much as you
Holy shit. Far Cry 3 will be TEN TIMES as big as Far Cry 2. Or, twice as big as Oblivion. Or, half as big as World of Warcraft.
Jonah FalconNice, but it doesn't mean that it's good news. Worst case scenario, it can turn out to be just like FC 2's world: big, but ultimately restrained by tons of canyons and rivers as a means to hide the load screens, and nowhere near as free as Oblivion, Fallout 3, GTA or a lot of other similar games for that matter.
It might be better if they focused on making a smaller, but more detailed and nuanced world to explore, similar to how GTA IV and Mercenaries 2 did it.
If it's not by Crytek, then I certainly won't get it. Far Cry 2 was nice, but wasn't even remotely as good as Far Cry.
This actually impresses you? As if a big world would make a good game.

People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.I restate: Holy Shit.
Jonah FalconI just hope they learned their lessons from Far Cry 2 which was frankly rather boring. No brand new guns that only fire 600 rounds before exploding, no repetitive missions, no tedious money-earning method. Also a big world doesn't mean anything if it's mostly empty and lacking in variety or new locations.
That said the video does look interesting and already makes you want to kill that SOB.
Hell no, I wanna see how long he'll keep repeating that "Definition of insanity" speech of his!
Coming this year?
