It was supposed to not only be about consistency, it's about level of explanation. There's also the fact that it doesn't do anything new if somebody decides to Reverse the Polarity halfway through the story.

[up] Because that would be too broad. This trope is about a piece/kind of Applied Phlebotinum that has a well-defined set of rules that govern its properties and uses; this makes it stand in direct opposition to Green Rocks, which only possess loosely defined rules at best and operate on the same basic principle as New Powers as the Plot Demands.

Of course, "well-defined set of rules" does not necessarily preclude overlap with Green Lantern Ring, as long as the expanded uses remain consistent with the established rules.

And as soon as New Powers Asthe Plot Demands comes into play it is not anymore Minovsky Particle (even if it was defined as such up to that point) and becomes Green Rocks.

Once again, I'm going to ask if we're ready for an alt-titles crowner now.

Ok, I'll be adding Alt titles list, then.

EDIT: Error.

Given that around 80% of those who voted in the single proposition crowner supported a rename, I think an alternative titles crowner is in order, so I made one here. I might have missed a name idea or messed up elsewhere on the crowner though, so please tell me if I did so I can avoid making the same error in the future. Feel free to add names and edit the crowner as you wish.

[up] Appreciate your hard work grin

So with three votes, Minovsky Physics (that's my suggestion, btw) is on the lead. Hell yeah.

d Roy,

Thank you, but it really was not much hard work at all. You can help out and make a crowner yourself next time if you would like. The How To Fix A Trope thread explains that process though I would guess you probably have read through it before.

Making Crowners

Single Proposition Crowner: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/crowner.php/SingleProposition/[Insert Title Here]

Alternative Titles Crowner: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/crowner.php/AlternativeTitles/[Insert Title Here]

Page Action Crowner https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/crowner.php/PageAction/[Insert Title Here]

Image Pickin Crowner https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/crowner.php/ImagePickin/[Insert Title Here]

I used the https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/crowner.php/AlternativeTitles/MinovskyParticle URL to make this crowner for example* .

I know that. But not only my computer cannot do it (it always says error on the page) and frankly, adding all that is too much work for me.

Bump. So it's either Phlebotinum A Is Phlebotinum A (fuck, that was handful) or Minovsky Physics. I prefer the latter, not only because its my idea, but also I wouldn't have to type nearly as much. Also it sounds cooler to my ears.

EDIT: Huh, what do you know, even as I typed some one cast his/her votes and now Minovsky Physics is on the lead. Yay.

No. It's only been up for less than one day yet. That's not time enough to let everyone weigh in.

You normally leave an alt-titles crowner open for around a week to ensure accuracy, you know. Two days are hardly enough to gauge opinions accurately.

EDIT: Ninja'd by a Mod.
