I like how they mention old plot points and episode events off hand, continuity is awesome.
The world is inherently chaotic no amount of religion, conspiracy or wishful thinking will change that, accept it, and move on.I liked that episode too. That's one of those things we could stick in a time capsule and go "Yea, that's a fairly accurate representation of how these things worked."
I'm baaaaaaackThis made me laugh so hard.
One of the better things about Modern Family is how the actors are growing with each other. You can see how Luke and Phil read their lines off of each other that the younger actor is picking up Ty Burrell's timing with a joke.
BTW, best Phil Dunphy quote: "The Blind side was about the black kid that played tight end." "Offensive Line." "Sorry, African-American kid."
Oh yeah, that line was hilarious.

It took me twenty minutes to find my car in the driveway."
I love this show so much.
I don't remember, where is that line from?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. The most recent episode. It aired Wednesday, I think? I watched it yesterday.
"Do you see this being a short visit or-"
"The pregnant one brought a stroller"
PSN ID: FateSeraph Congratulations! She/TheyThe newest episode....eh, it wasn't quite bad, but very mediocre, I'd say.
And I felt that the sex jokes were more crude than average.
Say, does anyone know any good sitcom like this series?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Winter finale is out. Loved it. Quick and to the point, all around.
I loved Phil's quick speech to Andy, and later when it looks like he and Hayley are going to waffle around again due to his disappointment with Beth, Gloria solves the problem in two seconds.
Is that the one with cabin?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Yes. I don't know when the next one will be out, but I imagine early next year.
Watched the latest episode, that is, Season 7 Episode 21.
Hah, that Titanic homage.
Also, as an aspiring writer myself, I can definitely feel Mr. Hastings' annoyance.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. It's funny I see so many people loving Phil. I watched the show till about the end of season 3 with my mom but she had to quit as she eventually found him an unbearable character. I continued watching myself and she will still watch a few episodes with me if she feels like it, but if Phil gets a lot of screentime she groans and does something else instead. Funny how different we react to characters.
"After 10 seasons of annoyingly easy, first-world-problem living, the cast of Modern Family is finally going to face a little goddamn tribulation and hardship"
Okay wow, this is ridiculously condescending way to start off.
Anyhow, after two years I decided to continue with this series. I forgot a lot of events so I started with the seventh season again.
You know...over the years I observed and learned the complexities of my own family. I came to realization...no, acceptance that my family is more dysfunctional than I realized and there are a lot of flaws, insecurities, and struggles.
Maybe that's why that now I get so much more empathetic when I watch this show. Sometimes I even ponder, when I start my own family what would that look like.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I feel like I love/hate this show and I figured out why. If I could watch a show that followed Phil, Gloria, Haley, and Cam, this show would be hysterical.
With that said, I cannot stand how the kids in this show are written. When their dialogue is at its best, they're just annoying. Most of the time, though? They're unrealistic, obnoxious, and watching them is the perfect example of [fremdschamen](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/fremdschA4men). They're just written as tiny bratty caricatures that smugly spout flat one-liners.
Don't worry, I wiped my shoes before stepping into your echo chamber.Children can be insufferable, yeah.
For me personally, Manny is just...the worst.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. So, finally got around to watching season 10.
Ep 7: Haley gets pregnant. That was like one big "Wait, what?" moment for me. XD
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I guess this season will end with Haley giving birth.
I wonder what the series finale will be. No doubt it should at least feature every single family member giving interview.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Necro, because the final season started to airing.
Yeah, that's right. This is the last one. This better not mess up like How I Met Your Mother...

Watched ep 18 of season 6.
I love how Haley and Alex is getting more and more closer.
I loved the plotline of Phil and Luke. Although I'm not a parent myself, I can definitely imagine the depression of an mid-aged man feeling overshadowed by his young and strong son. By the way, is it just me or is Luke getting more and more...I don't know a cool guy? I think it is a reflection of the real life actor.
