Nope, but I could use more party games I guess. The last friend I had over had no interest in any games I haven't played to death.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackGood to hear, I was a big fan of the original, and will definitely pick this one up when it's finally available in Redland. It sucks living in a country where half the games for your region aren't even sold =|
Videogames do not make you a worse person... Than you already are.Is it limited to two players like the new PC version seems to be? I don't know why they'd go down from three instead of adding one more and going up to four.
(Then again, if three players get their answers wrong, that would leave the fourth one with a guaranteed correct answer.)
Also, I take it that this means no more early buzz-in false start punishment (such as having to type in the answer or being forced to pick one of four answers, all of which are wrong).
Anyway, it's clear that I don't have the new ones yet, but I do have XL and Volumes 2 and 3 in their PC/Classic Mac OS incarnations.

Nah, the Wii version is 4 players. They don't tell you what the correct answer is until everyone's picked an answer or time runs out, and yeah no early buzz-in penalty.

Played it with friends at game club.
Best fun I had in a long time. And a huge nostalgia rush at that too.
...So this is a good quiz-show game? Man, I remember playing You Don't Know Jack with my siblings on our webTV...those were the days. Might have to look into this.
The blind man walking off the cliff is not making a leap of faith. So you only get told the correct answer? Guess that means no snappy insults from the host for giving the wrong answer.
Also, how many of the old question variants remain? Stuff like Dis or Dat, Impossible Questions, Gibberish Questions, the Jack Attack (unrelated to the trope), etc.? Probably cut out since they wouldn't be easy to type without a USB keyboard on the consoles...

Remember the old games where you would get penalized for swearing at the host? Good times.

Add me on skype! Dynamod1990Typing "Fuck You" as an answer to a Gibberish or Impossible Question would do it, at least.
IIRC, if you did it three times, the host would Rage Quit the game. Literally. Back to the desktop you go!
Yeah, duh, you get insulted. Thought that was a given. My favorite one so far is "Lemme let you think about how WRONG that was..." and then 5 seconds later your score plummets.
There's no typing in this one, except for the name. I need to try that.
Off the top of my head there are Dis and Dat, Jack Attack (always Round 3), Fortune Cookie, Funky Trash, Nocturnal Admissions, Order Questions and maybe something else I'm forgetting... Anything involving typing has been cut.

Fiber-Optic Field Trip?
Nope, but it has "Who's The Dummy?".
It kicks so much ass! I like the "everybody can pick an answer" thing better than the old "buzz in first" style, and Cookie is still hilarious as ever. Has anyone else bought this game yet?
