it is just about the only pasta that really creeped me out.
Come to think of it, why is it called "pasta"? That name seems completely random to me.

It's a variation of copypasta, a term for stories that are copied and pasted across message boards and the like.
It seems that creepypasta.com's forums are down now but you can still get there if you follow this link: http://www.creepypasta.com/forums//viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14297 you find the various author's compilations, some of which are pretty terrifying (Gar's "Psychosis" is a standout)

Yeah, I think there was some forum drama there- but if you've got an itch for new creepypasta you can spend quite some time reading through their author's lists- most of it is never-before-seen and is pretty creepy ,although a great deal of it seems to break the "flash-fiction" length limit ("Gar" and "Ultra" can run as far as 2000 words in their longer ones).
Based on what I've seen there, which seems a pretty good representative sample, I'm trying to think of where the line between creepypasta and a conventional short story can be drawn- maybe a creepypasta is very generalised (even as far as being told in second-person), while a short story has specific setting and characters (and a consequently greater length?)
God, Rat King was freaky as hell...And I love it. 
And Where Bad Kids Go made me cringe.
Might I suggest Ichor Falls for any further creepypasta needs? Some of them are really friggin' good.

well i only just got into creepypasta recently. i've read ben drowned, squidward suicide, slenderman ,candle cove, dead bart , and afew lost episode ones. they were preety good.
this one however i have to show beacuse it shows what happends when you make a creepy pasta and are not even trying [ and by that i mean it's not very good]

I don't remember Stick Stickly at all werid when i read that pasta was the first I heard of it. must have been because I watched cartoon net work more back then but who knows.
I WAS AN INTERN THERE FOR AN UNEXPLAINED REASON, AND WE WERE VIEWING AN EPISODE OF SPONGEBOB, (WITH ALL THE HAUNTED EPISODES, FOR SOME REASON EVERY INTERN WAS MAGICALLY HEALED BY FAIRIES) SO IT STARTED WITH THE TITLE CARD: "RED SQUIDWARD HAUNTED MIST SUICIDEY HAUNTEDY TAPEY THINGY" THEN WHEN IT OPENED UP I WAS WATCHING AND AN INTERN STARTED CRAPPING SPRINKLES CAUSE THE EPISODE WAS SOME HAUNTED THINGER MAGINGER. THEN IT STARTED WITH SOME THINGY WHERE IT SHOWED A LITTLE GIRL EATING A RAINBOW, THEN A BOY POOPING MAGICAL FAIRY DUST, THEN IT SHOWED SOME HYPER REALISTIC THINGY WITH SQUIDWARD AND HE WAS CRYING AND STUFF THEN ALL THE INTERNS TURNED INTO SKITTLES, THE END

I wonder if people who write things like this realize that they are neither funny, ironic or clever.
I'm just trying to figure out why there are so many damn Spongebob lost episodes, though. Stephen Hillenburg did NOT have quality control, it seems. Can't we have a lost episode of something like Manimal?

Creepypasta aren't meant to scare you. They are meant to creep you out.
There, just thought I'd say that again. Though some of the stuff in The Fear Mythos (not including my own work) has creeped me out enough to make me want to reconsider my top ten.
