Swoobat: -comes forward with the package from Wolf; a pink box with "Katie" written on a label-

Katie: Hey, buddy! Did Thomas send you?

Swoobat: -nods- <Yup yup yup!>

Nutmeg: -cuddle!-

Crow: So, you said this Bulbasaur's been causing chaos. Any type of chaos I should be on the lookout for?

I thought it was the computer, but it's not working for any of the computers in the house. I hope it's not a network issue...

-Straw and Crow reach Mt. Silver's base-

Well, it varies. Most of the time you can see these weird whitish pixelated trails around.

-Straw sees one going up the mountain-

Like that.

-Crewe sets down by a tree with some glitchiness starting to climb the trunk. Releasing her team to let them all relax for a bit, she sprinkles the cure on the affected part of the tree, then moves on to look for any other nearby signs-

A little way away, in the woods...

-a Rapidash mare and her young colt walk through the woods, the mare looking rather weary, though the colt seems full of energy-

Colt: -whining- <Mama, they're gonna move on without us!>

Mare: -nuzzles him, nudging him on- <I'm sure they'll wait for us, dear. We mustn't rush, these woods are dangerous.>

Colt: -bucks impatiently, sending several startled Pidgey flying- <I can beat up anything that comes near us, Mama! Let's hurry!>

Mare: <I'm sure you would try, my little conqueror.> -nips his shoulder- <But we'll be careful, nevertheless.>

Colt: -sighs dramatically, but falls into step with his mother- <But careful is boring. I wanna meet up with everyone so I can prove that I can too beat Blazer in battle!>

-the mare chuckles and continues walking, the colt soon straying from her side once more-

Forte: <Who's Thomas?>

Her brother. We usually refer to him as Wolf.

Forte: <Oh!>

Katie: -opens the package, and pulls out all the stuff- Wow. He really went all-out. -reads the note I packed in-

Happy Birthday! I'm sorry I couldn't be there. I hope this makes up for that, and for the last several birthdays I wasn't there for. Hope to see you soon.

Katie: -smiles, and opens the card from me and DS-

- Ammy, as a Volcarona, is hovering above the city, holding Tsuku-

Tsuku: Something wrong, Ammy?

Ammy: -sighs- I just keep thinking about Umbra... He's so sad, and I don't like seeing him that way...

Tsuku: Well, yeah, he's your friend...

Ammy: That's another thing... Soon after I met him a few months ago... I started feeling... Odd around him. It's a good odd, though... But I don't know what it is...

Tsuku: Don't be silly. You know perfectly well what it is!

Ammy: I do?

Tsuku: Yeah! Just think about it a little! ;3

- Ammy does so. -

- She then floats down to the ground, out of sight of anyone. -

- She then puts the armband on and clenches her fist nervously. -

Katie: -reads the card, puts it on her other gifts, and pulls out the scarf- Oh, Daisy got me a present!

Fortis: Oh, who's Daisy?

Pianis: Huh. I thought about getting you a scarf, but decided to go for a hat instead.

Daisy's this girl with the rest of the group. Though, come to think of it, I haven't seen her in quite a while.

Katie: -puts on the scarf, too, then looks through the other stuff- Cute top! And aww, look at this guy! -shows the plushie to Forte- It matches yours! -then the iPhokex and accompanying disks- Hm? -turning them over- What are these?

The woods where Crewe is

-Crewe, not having found any glitched Pokemon or plants, returns to her team. Thistle is bothering Margaret, Beedrill is hovering off to the side eyeing Calcifer warily, and Clockwise is telling an enraptured Henry an impassioned, implausible story of a Jolteon hero-

Hey, guys, let's—where's Biton?

-her Pokemon all blink and look around, confused-

Calcifer: -sweeps his gaze around the rest of them, then sighs- <He's hunting.>

... What?

Calcifer: -glares at her- <Did you not hear me? He's hunting.>

He went off on his own?

-the Growlithe decides he's done talking and settles down again-

-Crewe groans-

Well, I guess we'll just have to wait here for him, then.

A little farther off

-the mare's ears prick and she stands alert as she catches the sounds of Crewe and her team. Her colt looks up at her-

Colt: <What's wrong, Mama?>

Mare: -nostrils flare- <There's a Trainer up ahead. Be careful.>

Colt: -snorts and paws the ground- <A Trainer? I bet I can fight them and beat them all up!>

Mare: <Sweetie, remember, if you—>

Colt: -flicks his tail and ears- <Yeah, yeah, they can catch me. But only if they beat me. And no way that'll happen!>

Mare: <My dear, we've talked about this. Are you prepared for the consequences of being caught? There are some Pokemon that have been caught without fighting at all.>

Colt: -snorts- <Those are just stories, Mama. I wanna fight this Trainer!>

Mare: -lifts her head and looks off in the direction of Crewe and her team, then sighs and leans to nuzzle her colt- <All right then. It's your choice.>

Colt: -prances about happily, then bumps his head against his mother's shoulder- <Thanks Mama! See you real soon!>

-he sets off at an excited canter towards the sounds of the team-

Celadon

-Umbra is walking around, taking in the sights of the city.-

Umbra: It's so pretty...

-sigh-

A city like this is what convinced me to leave my isolation... After I convinced myself I couldn't be trusted... That I was a monster...

-he looks down-

Maybe I should have just stayed. Maybe I shouldn't have gone on all these adventures only to find more pain...

-He hears footsteps, and looks up to see Human!Ammy approaching fast-

Oh? Hey, Ammy, what's goin o- MMMMM!

-and is promptly kissed on the lips-

Human!Ammy: -breaks the kiss, looks at Umbra-

Umbra: - pushes her away a bit, stares at her in shock... -

- And kisses back.-

-From the bushes...-

Issun: ...Xion?

Xion: ...Yeah?

Issun: ...Cue the [funky music]! ^w^

-Xion starts emitting music that sounds vaguely like "Love Shack"-
