Yarn shakes his head at the Nidorina.

Yarn: <Oh no, you're son's very nice if a bit overconfident. It's just hard keeping my flock under control, that's all.>

He raises his head up to do a quick headcount. Thankfully, none of the flock seemed to have wandered off anywhere.

<It's even more stressful when you visit someplace new. It's harder to find the ones that like to wander off, you see.>

Aside, Woolly can't help but chuckle at the Pidgey.

Woolly: <They're not "holes", they're stars! They're just like the sun, but really, really, really, REALLY far away, you can only see them at night, and they don't burn your eyes when you look directly at them.>

She pauses to glance at the fourth wall.

<Seriously peoplemons, Don't look at the sun. It's not good for your eyes at all.>

With that done, she resumes her conversation with the Pidgey.

<Hmm, flashing lights?>

She recalls a few months back in Hoenn when she sent a message to the night sky and actually received a response.

<I might have seen something like that before...>

Shinra: <It's done.> *flaps his wings*

Spinda!Rex: *comes over and looks at the centrifuge* <Wow, this is great Shinra! It's just what I needed! ...But, umm...how is this going to work? Where's the power source?>

Shinra: <Well, it needs batteries. And we kind of don't have any in the town.>

Spinda!Rex: <What!? Why didn't you just make another power source?!>

Shinra: <I'm just a kid.>

Eskay: ...and here's the Kimono Theatre! The Kimono Girls dance, but they also happen to be associated with Bell Tower.. I heard they deemed someone with a Feraligatr worthy of entering the tower, but not much has been mentioned about it.

Diane: Have you battled them before?

Eskay: Twice, actually. I guess I could challenge them again today... But I don't have Jazz or Skye with me...

Skye: (To Lake) <You know, you look kinda familiar... Have you been to Ecruteak City?>

If someone were willing to write for the Kimono Girls, that would be nice.

He stops, tilting his head awkwardly.

Lake nods, then pauses to take a bite out of a recently purchased Goldeen.

<I've been there quite a few times actually. I'm guessing that you might have seen me around there once?>

Which was rather awkward, as Lake definitely didn't remember ever seeing a Skarmory like Skye around there. Either that, or he had and had simply forgotten about it.

Skye: <That's probably why I recognize you. Eskay and I live in Ecruteak, you see.>

Skye: <Come to think of it, there was word of a trainer with a Feraligatr being allowed in the Bell Tower about a few years ago... Maybe I'm just overthinking the fact that you look familiar...>

Lake: <No, that sounds like us alright. Me and my trainer went in there to bring back Ho-oh a few years ago. Which...you're probably already heard about, haven't you?>

Pretty much everyone in Ecruteak knew what he and Luke had done. After their battle with Ho-oh, they had pretty much become celebrities overnight.

Lake chuckles slightly, feeling slightly awkward at Skye's praise.

Lake: <A lot of peoplemons tell me that. It felt kind of weird at first, I didn't really think I was that special. Sure, I helped my trainer beat Team Rocket, but until we met Ho-oh...well, I always considered myself a normal Feraligatr that just so happened to get involved in a lot of strange stuff.>

He shifts his gaze to his own scales, still a brighter hue from the EX power he had received from Ho-oh back in the Orange Islands.

<But it turned out I was quite special indeed...>

...and then I fought Ho-oh on top of the Bell Tower (though back when I was younger they called it the Tin Tower), but he effortlessly beat me.

Ana: Sounds absolutely crazy.

But it did happen! I got the Blue Orb after playing Groudon in a children's card game too.

Pica: ...What? You have got to be kidding me.

Muddy: It's true...

If Skye were anything but a Skarmory, she would be visibly sweating. And blushing.

Lake: <Oh yeah, that was pretty rough. Those Team Rocket guys we're NOT NICE. Even if the only Pokémon they used were common ones like Rattata, Ekans, Zubat...you know.>

That said, they didn't seem too tough through the eyes of a Feraligatr, but they were a lot harder to deal with when he and the others were younger and inexperienced.

<Thankfully we drove them off for good. We hope so, anyway.>
