Marionette: <Hehe! Quite impressive! Way more impressive than the things I can do with my ghost magic! I mean, at the most, the best I could do is cast minor curses, perform emergency transformations on those that are near death, and turn people into liches!> (giggles)

... Right. So, any idea how to deal with it?

Marionette: (cheerfully) <Nope!>

Oh... Anyways, thanks for your opinion, at least.

- Coughs -

Marionette: <...? What's with the cough?> (way more excited than she should be) <Are you dying?>

What? No! It's just a cold, nothing serious.

Marionette: (still cheerful) <Oh, good! That means you'll still be around to provide me with your delicious negative emotions!>

Shamouti Island

-The Pokemon in their cages await their creul fate. The squeals of the Pikachu faded long ago and with the sudden overwhelming silence. The man walks up and prepares to claim his next victem of the night-

-The man opens the door, keys a-rattlin' as he opens the cage that conatined the Blitzle. However, the Blitzle wasn't as meek as his previous kill and starts kicking up a row-

Poacher: -Grabbing the Biltzle- "You calm down this instance! There's no use fighting!"

-The Bliztle kicks the Serviper's Cage. The faulty lock comes off the cage front and it swings open ever so slightly, hardly even noticable to the human eye.-

Poacher: -Draging the Blitzle to the room- "Finally out of energy are we? Don't worry, I'll put you out of yer misery soon enough"

-The Poacher then drags the Pokemon into the room, closing the door behind him. The caged Pokemon then focus on the Serviper who's cage is slightly ajar-

Zigzagoon: <Well I'll be damned! Maybe the 'chu was right!>

Serviper!Poacher: <What?>

Cinccinco: <The wire on your door is loose! Why if you were quiet enough, you could slip out of there!>

-The Serviper carefully nudges the cage door open, and slithers right out of it. The Serviper looks back at the caged mons-

Totodile: <Now I've seen it all! A Pokemon make it out of a skinnin' shed alive, and he's still dawdling here! Go on, the wilderness is right out there! Go for it>

-The Serviper looks to the brambles outside, before turning back to the Pokemon in the cages-

Serviper!Poacher: <But you're still in cages! It isn't fair! It just ain't!>

Totodile: <... Now listen here mate...>

-The Serviper listens intently to the Totodile

Totodile: <All of us here... we're all old. We may not look it, but we are. We have no future and if we were to escape, we would not be able to live like the rest of our kin. But more like brain-dead zombies... YOU on the other hand son... still shine as brightly as the future, despite your pessimisim. Let us go and move on with your life... in your world!>

Serviper!Poacher: <But...>

Totodile: <We'll be alright, us and the many like us... We'll see if the afterworld is Merciful. So go while you have the chance. The knife man will be back and he'll cage you up again if you don't leave, so follow my advice and discover the world for yourself...>

-The Serviper nods-

Serviper!Poacher: <I will...>

Totodile: <Good! Now make haste while you can!>

-The Serviper is about to leave, when the Espeon raises his voice-

Espeon: <Snake, I have a request before you leave...>

Serviper!Poacher: <Yes>

-The Espeon sticks his tail out of the cage-

Espeon: <I know your bite is fatal but painless. I wish to die in peace. Will you grant me my final wish?>

Serviper!Poacher: <...>

-The Serviper bites the Espeons tail-

Espeon: <Oooh! Thank you! I.. I feel drowsy now... I think.. I'll go... to sleep>

-The Espeon begins to rest and with that, the Serviper sliters out into the brambles. As he looks back, he sees the Totodile, smiling and waving at him as he dashes away into the night-

Mikan Island - Harbour

-It's morning, and a certain Dragonite has left the boat to have an early flight around to wake himself up.-

Stratus: <Ah, what a lovely day!>

<"Yeah!">

-A school of Mantine "swim" through the air past the Dragonite.-

Random Mantine: <You've got that right, buddy! Wheeeeee~!>

-The Mantine "swim" away, leaving Stratus looking rather perplexed.-

Stratus: <...What on Earth?!>

-Stratus pauses, Bering wondering if he's dreaming still. With all the time he had spent in the dream world, it wasn't uncommon for him to get the two mixed up on occasion.-

<"AAAAHHHH! GET AWAY!!!">

-A Tyranitar runs past, appearing to be fleeing for his life.-

Random Tyranitar: <RUN! BEFORE IT GETS YOU!!!>

Stratus: <Huh?>

-As the Tyranitar flees, Stratus looks around, soon spotting it's pursuer.

A Skitty.-

Skitty: <MEOW! :3>

-The Skitty runs off, continuing it's pursuit of the tyrant Pokémon, and leaving Stratus very confused.-

Stratus: <What's going on?!>

Mikan Beach

-Abby has gotten up early, and is out looking at the waves-

Abigail: -shuddering- <Something feels... wrong... today.>

<Besides the chocolate rain puddles.>

- DS has let her Pokémon out of their balls, and is waiting for Latias to show up -

Meanwhile, in another hotel room

- Emolga has just snuck into Tagg's hotel room -

Emolga: <... Good, he's still asleep.> (smirks) <So, the blonde girl doesn't think one can just make ones problems disappear? Well, we'll see about that...>

Hotel

-Every is still asleep, both in the real world and dream world (somehow)-

-However, his team isn't-

Salamence: -Tugs at T- <T?>

T: <Yes?>

Salamence: <Why have all the buildings grown legs? And eyes?>

T: <...This one wishes it knew.>

Jab: <Come on, let's go investigate!> -climbs out of the window-

T: <This one would suggest wai—>

-Salamence has already followed-

T: <...Excuse this one? Could the Chimecho or the Kricketune perhaps be persuaded to look after the Swablu and the Sneasel for a time? One of us will likely be required here, and the Kricketune and the Chimecho will likely be more help if the Swablu and the Sneasel get into any trouble then this one will.>

Diesel: <Huh? Yeah, sure, I'll keep an eye on them.> -hops out the window, using his wings to slow his descent-

Breeze: <Me too!> -floats out the window-

T: <...This one requires an additional mon...> -would facepalm if it had hands-

-I am asleep in my hotel room, while I am given a tour of the Dream World by Magellan-

Magellan:<And this is where I plant my berries. I have Magost, Lansat, Starf, Sitrus, Oran, Cheri, Cornn...>

<Wow, you have a lot of berries.>

-Magellan nods-

DS' hotel room, a few minutes later

So, Latias? Did you speak to the wild Pokémon about the wild Swanna chase you accidentally sent them all on?

Latias: I tried, but then they all broke out into spontainious singing and dancing, and I could barely get a word in!

Huh... Must be the curse.

- Hears knocking on the window -

Huh?

- Sees Emolga outside -

... Emolga?

- Opens the window -

Emolga: <Hey there, blonde girl. Just wanted to let you know that I've done you a favor, and helped remove your friend's problem!>

... What?

Emolga: (smirks) <You can thank me later. For now, I'm off to get myself something to eat, and then I'm going to try to steal the blue color out of the ocean! Bye!> (flies off)

... That was weird.

Latias: (nods) Yeah... The ocean isn't even blue, she should be stealing the blue color out of the sky, not the ocean!

What do you think she meant by stealing my friend's problem? Which of my friends?

Latias: (shrugs)

-A certain Zoroark and Mismagius sit and observe as chaos unfolds around them, taking note of such oddities as a trio of ballet dancing Bouffalant, a Charmeleon blowing bubbles out of his mouth, and a Heracross flapping it's arms and pecking at the floor, clucking like a Blaziken.-

Phantom: <Whoever did this...is clearly a master prankster.>

Hallow: <Eeheehee! All this chaos! It's glorious!>

Phantom: <Very much so, yes. Shame we don't know who did this. I feel we would have much to learn from him or her.>

Emolga: <Hey there!> (flies over to Cynical!Tagg) <Guess what? You're coming with me now!> (smirks, before looking over at Optimist!Tagg) <Don't worry, I'll take good care of him.> (grabs onto Cynical!Tagg and attempts to drag him off) <Let's go!>

-after a while spent avoiding spiderlike buildings, Salamence, Breeze, Jab, and Diesel find Fade, who has been picking up a little breakfast-

Breeze: <Fade!>

Fade: -puts down a random citizen, who runs away- <...>

Breeze: <Can you help us? We're trying to investigate what's going on.>

Fade: <Me?>

Jab: <Yeah! We need you to fly Diesel around because he can't Surf and he's too big for Breeze to carry!>

Fade: <...Why?>

Salamence: <Because we want to investigate what's going on!>

Fade: <Food.>

Jab: <There'll be food on all the islands! Come on, it'll be awesome!>

Fade: Hmm...on one rudder, there's plenty of food here already. On the other rudder, who knows what's on those other islands? Maybe there's something even scarier...mmm...on the third rudder, there might actually be something dangerous...on the fourth rudder, maybe we could find the source of all these problems. Ooh, that would be delicious... <Okay.>

Jab and Salamence: <Yay!>

Breeze: (To Diesel) <And I was hoping she'd say no...>

Diesel: <Join the club.>

Cynical!Tagg: -Struggling against Emolga's grip- How is this squirrel so strong? Are you mad? You don't just go around removing aspects of people's minds all willy nilly and expect nothing bad to happen! If you don't want this island to erupt in flames you'll unhand me this instant!

Optimist!Tagg: Please, you have no idea what you're unleashing on everyone!

Emolga: (tilts head) <Really?> (shrugs) <Well, if things don't turn out okay, I'll just return him, like I usually end up doing with a lot of the things I steal. Let's go!> (manages to steal Cynical!Tagg somehow)

Emolga: (sitting in a tree) <Hehe! I actually stole an aspect of someone's personality! I'm such an awesome thief, the Gardevoir would be proud!> (pauses) <... Maybe I should've listened to their warning, but... Oh well, I'll just return him later. Besides, it can't possibly turn out any worse than that time that the Gardevoir stole the o-zone layer.>

Optimist!Tagg: -Watches Emolga steal Cynical!Tagg- Oh no...

-A door suddenly appears behind Optimist!Tagg and starts billowing out darkness as a figure walks out-

It's time to get the hell out of dodge!

-Runs away-

Nihilist!Tagg: -Pays no heed to the retreating Optimist!Tagg-    Finally I've been released from my prison thanks to that foolish squirrel's machinations. Now, it's finally time to fix this shithole we all live in, though FLAME AND DESTRUCTION!

-Seals Victini within his own GS Ball before turning towards Xatu-

   You're too close to the weak one, you can't resist me for long.   

Xatu: <Argh, I can at least prevent you from hurting anyone here.>

-Xatu manages to teleport everyone into the nearby forest, but that ends up placing him fully under Nihilist!Tagg's control like the others-

Latias: Aww... You still have a cold?
