Reflection!Selene: "The Corax wereravens are infamous knowledge brokers that help other supernatural beings... for a price. Though they have been known to have alt... altru... altruistic sides for those who defend their interests on a regular basis."

Reflection!Ajax: "Very good! You stumbled a little on 'altruistic', but you did pretty well besides."

-The memory ripples and disappears.-

Selene: Well, that was cryptic.

-A stack of pancakes flies by, whispering promises of buttery and syrupy goodness. Selene begins chasing the breakfast treasure.-

As Lake regarded his old friend with tales of his exploits, Unite was watching from a-far, perched next to Luke as he flicked through the radio stations on his Poké-gear.

Unite: <You not gonna' start training her yet?>

Luke shook his head.

Luke: "I only just got her! We should give her a day to get more antiquated with everyone. Besides, she's had a bad experience with her previous trainer. I don't wanna' come on too strong, yeah?"

Unite: <Hmm.>

The bird nodded in understanding.

<So, you're not jealous, are you?>

Luke: "Jealous? Why would I be jealous?"

Unite: <Because she's Lake's best friend? Wasn't that supposed to be your position? I think she might be muscling on your territory, bro.>

Luke shook his head.

Luke: "Nah. You can have more than one best friend. I mean, isn't technically Nadia also Lake's best friend?>

Unite: <But weren't ever you jealous of her at all?>

Again, Luke shook his head.

Luke: "Even if she's his mate, she'll never understand him the way I do."

Unite: <...Wha?>

"She seems to be rather affectionate of you."
