-he taps a button on the remote, and the cube hops again, but falls far from Pleth and Cuseinga-

Pleth: <...Xam was right about being the smart one, huh?>

Leinad: <SHUT UP!>

-he jabs at several buttons, the cube whirling up into a small storm-

Pleth: <Honestly? Not that impressive.>

Cuseinga: <Yeah.>

Leinad: <I SAID SHUT UP!>

-Leinad continues jabbing buttons, and the storm separates into sharp-tipped tendrils that wave towards Cuseinga-

Pleth: <...Uh-oh.>

Leinad: <   DIE!   >

Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.

Eridanus: ...Nimbus, what are you doing? [sigh] Well, it's been quite the time since we have met in the Kalos.

The grass-haired girl still has some of empty look in her face, but not as much as before.

Denshi: <I did meet them, though. Including this silly birdie. Why did you peck that wall, again?>

-as the tendrils advance, Leinad gradually becomes swifter and more confident in his button-pressing. The tendrils rear up and dive like stingers-

-Cuseinga is already gone of course, and the stingers drive into the ground, burrowing away-

Cuseinga: <What?>

-and they then burst up. Pleth narrowly avoids being swallowed by a mouth appearing from underfoot, while Cuseinga slithers out of a set of bars about to snap shut on him-

Pleth: <We need to go for the remote!>

Cuseinga: <Right!>

-Pleth darts forward, only to be cut off by a wall of nanobots appearing and sprouting spikes. Cuseinga, meanwhile, attempts to ride the lightning over the battle, but his path is halted by a single nanobot that cuts off the attack before it can do anything. Instead, Cuseinga simply rushes Leinad, darting by the nanobot constructions and leaping at him-

-Dimo lets go, sending the Electivire to the floor with a thump.-

-The Jagers stair blankly as Phosphora goes off to the nearby lake to bathe.-

-Dimo follows Phosphora's steps, holding back several yards.-

-The passerby picks up her Pokeball and starts to walk off. Selene shoots her an angry look and psychically throws a rock at the back of the would-be catcher's head right before ducking behind a trash can.-

Lake: <Wait, hang on. Is Izzy showing up again really that different from when a few hundred or so Pokémon pop out of nowhere every few years?>

He gestures at the little lizard.

<Did any of you even know what a Helioptile was fifteen minutes ago?>

There was a short silence as Luke, Unite and Stratus exchanged uncomfortable glances.

Luke: "...You've got a point."

Smirking, Izzy fist-pumped.

Izzy: <Ha! Get wrecked! Now, could we go and discuss this somewhere else? There must be plenty of places to catch up with an old friend than in front of a smelly old house.>

Unite: <Fine with me, but->

Unite pointed a wing at the frozen Raticate.

<Why was she trying to kill you? Something about stealing food?>

Izzy wriggle uncomfortably in Luke's hands at the accusation.

Izzy: <I may have snatched a few things off her. Desperate times and all that.>

Luke: "Look, it doesn't matter. Just leave whatever you took here and we'll go and get you some food. You do seem a bit emaciated from where I'm standing."

She turned to look back at Luke, blinking.

Izzy: <You're just gonna' help me like that? Even after we just met?>

Luke: "Well, if Lake likes you, you mustn't be all that bad. That, and I think you're cute."

This was met with a chilly glare.

Izzy: <I 'ain't cute, bucko.>

Atla is now put on the Leafeon. And now Leafeon is kinda inside the Goomy...

Atla: <Well, my body isn't exactly 100% solid, as you can see. Now how do I get out of this...>
