Herbert: Noted and oh wow I only just realised how light-headed I am. Must be the burning building fumes or something. Anyway I'm going to go back to the Center or Centre or whatever they call it around her and sleep in a real bed before seeing if my team's around. I haven't seen them in ages, so I should make sure they're okay. Anyway, goodnight! We can do more of this catching-up stuff tomorrow.

Scout: Its only logical. His wife has been missing for a while now, but even if she was her, the doctors reckon she's barren. He has no heir. And his warmth towards you just makes sense that he would most likely pick you as a successor.
