-Mezzo steps outside, and notices Pianis leaning against a wall-

Okay, you know how long I've spent ferrying Fortis around? Something like five months by now. Five whole months! And it's just all been about her! No one cares about what I want to do!

Pianis: So what, were you just gonna leave?

I'm seriously considering it.

Pianis: She really looks up to you, you know that?

Of course I know that! I've been having to put up with her for five months straight and let me tell you, after she got that Fly HM she became a lot harder to track. So heaven forbid I want to do something for me instead of her for once.

Pianis: And I'm sure just ditching her is a great example of the role model you're being.

Hey, you're one to talk! You vanished off the face of the earth for three of those months!

Pianis: One, that's because a friend was sick and as we later found out, in mortal peril, and two, the only reason I didn't tell you was because I dropped my phone in the ocean. It certainly wasn't just something I did on a whim.

Pianis: Furthermore, it wouldn't be just her you'd run from. You'd be leaving everyone else in your group behind, particularly your boyfriend. What would he think?
