Vrang: I know, she's so cute that it had to be mentioned twice, anyway what are you doing in Olivine?

Reggie: <She also had your fighting spirit.>

Somewhere North of Kanto/Johto

If the creature could be defeated, this was a fight Jack didn't want to flee from. Even if he got away from the Feraligator, he'd still have to contend with it later if he wanted to investigate the statue further.

Jack: "Groot, head underground and wait for a signal."

Groot nodded and burrowed into the ground. Jack knew that by default, the Feraligator would have the advantage due to type and wanted to ensure that when his Onix struck, it would be sure to count.

Runt: (TP) How do you want to play this?

Jack: "Intelligently."

Reaching the shore didn't slow down the large blue alligator at all. It continued along the ground on all fours with surprising speed. Once it had fully exited the water, it let out a massive roar.

Looking to set the pokemon off balance, Jack snapped a photo of the pokemon with the flash on, causing it to stop in it's tracks and stand up as it let out another roar.

Finally getting his first good look at the creature, it struck Jack as peculiar in several ways. For one, he finally realized just how large the Feraligator was - it had to have been over twelve feet tall. It also looked downright ancient. By no means did its body look decayed, but there was a clear sense of age to the monsters body - it spoke of years lived beyond what Jack would have ever imagined such a pokemon would even be capable of living. Scars covered it hide, each one no doubt telling a story of its own. Clearly, something was off about the whole situation, a fact that Jack should have picked up on the moment he first saw that it had pinkish glowing eyes.

Jack: "What have I gotten myself into?"

Instinctively, Jack took another photo of the massive pokemon. Provided he survived, this would be an encounter worth remembering.

Its second roar concluded, the Feraligator returned to all fours and continued its assault in Jacks direction.

Jack: "Groot! Now!"

Jack backed up as the creature approached, but then stopped and rolled to the side. A moment later, Groot emerged from the ground right underneath where the opponent had been only a moment ago, missing entirely. It then proceeded to reach out and chomp onto Groot's body around the midsection before he had a chance to fully emerge from the ground. Stopping the massive rock snake in his tracks, the Feraligator then 'hugged' the body and blasted the same section with a massive output of water at point blank range.

Groot: <augh!>

Jack was shocked by the attack, but fortunately Groot had enough sense to react on his own. Forcing his body the rest of the way above ground, he used Bind to wrap himself around his attackers body and Slammed them both into the ground. The impact forced the massive water type to release him, giving Groot the room he needed to retreat.

Jack: "Looks like you're up, Runt."

Runt nodded, moved his goggles over his eyes, and vanished. Before he re-appeared, there was a flash in the Feraligator's eyes. A split-second later, Runt re-appeared behind his target, his fist charged with electrical energy as he prepared to strike with a Thunderpunch.

Somehow, the Feraligator was prepared. It reached its claw into the ground and ripped up a chunk of dirt which it held out in order to block and disperse its electrical energy. The Abra's eyes, so commonly closed, opened wide in shock.

Runt: <How did you->

The Abra didn't have a chance to finish, a claw striking across his position and sending him flying across the lake. It was fortunate that the little Abra was made of tougher stuff, leaving him with enough focus to teleport back to shore.

Runt: (TP) What was that supposed to be?

Jack: "I have no idea, but it's not good."

Runt: (TP) Dang right ''it's not good!"

The Feraligator opened its mouth and shot an Ice Beam at the two, forcing them to dive out of the way.

Runt: (TP) We need a new plan.

Jack: "I'm working on it!"

Turning its attention back to Groot, the Feraligator shot another Ice Beam at Groot, but the Onix was crafty enough to rip up a nearby tree with his mouth and hold it in the way, resulting in the tree getting frozen instead.

Jack: "Penny, get ready!"

The Beedrill, normally as revved up as a pokemon could be for a fight, had been surprisingly calm. Hearing Jack, she picked her head up and soon enough, her normal fire returned to her quickly.

Jack: "Penny, get airborne! We're going to need you!"

She quickly headed for the skies, ready to attack when needed.

Jack: "Runt, I need you to screen!"

Knowing exactly what Jack was talking about, Abra began telespamming, faking out as he pretended as if he was going to attack from one of several dozen angles.

Jack: "Penny, Pin Missile!"

Following Jacks commands with far more reliability than Jack was used to, the bug shot an array of spikes in the massive Feraligators direction. Holding up its arms to protect the more vital areas, the Feraligator took the brunt of the damage and then retaliated, opening its mouth and releasing a very unexpected Flamethrower.

Jack: "How is it doing that!? It's not supposed to be able to do that!"

Penny clearly hadn't expected it either, dodging only just enough to avoid taking the entirety of the attack. Her wings, however, were singed enough to cause her to quickly loose altitude. Knowing she wasn't going to be of much use anymore, Jack quickly returned her.

Hoping to take advantage of the alternate focus, Abra once again attempted to hit the Feraligator with a Thunderpunch. Rather than blocking and dispursing the attack this time, however, the flash of the eyes was instead followed by the pokemon dodging out of the way, swinging its tail around to hit Runt from behind and send him flying.

Runt: <Well NUTS TO THIS!>

A teleport sent the Abra flying into Jacks arms and knocking them both over.

Runt: (TP) "I really hope you've got a better plan on you'' somewhere.

Jack: "I might."

Runt: (TP) You better!

Jack: "Groot, prep for a Fastball Reversal!"

After narrowly avoiding getting hit by a Hyper Beam the Feraligator had shot at the rock snake - one that had cut a clear path through the forest behind where he had previously been sitting, Groot nodded his head.

Pulling another tree out of the ground, Groot tossed it into the air, where Runt was able to teleport and grab onto it. Both Runt and the tree teleported above the Feraligator, which got the pokemon to reach up and punch the tree in two as it reached him.

This sat just fine with the team, who didn't need the tree to hit it anyway. As the Feraligator finished his tree punching, Groot let out a Screech that distracted it long enough for Abra to teleport in and grab onto the pokemon's back. The two then teleported into the air where Runt released him, leaving him to a freefall.

Seemingly unphased, the Feraligator rolled into a ball and began spinning, prepping itself for impact.

Jack: "Oh, I really hope this works."

As he neared the ground, Groot did his thing, reaching up the back of his body and striking the Feraligator with an Iron Tail that slammed the water type into the ground at top speed.

BOOM!

The impact caused a large amount of dirt and dust to shoot up out of the ground, forming a crater. As they waited to see the final result, Runt teleported to on top of Jack's head.

Runt: (TP) Did we get him?

Once it settled, the sight was one of a Feraligator that was clearly still alive, but down. At least for the moment.

Jack: "Looks like it to me."

Taking advantage of the situation, Jack grabbed a Net Ball and threw it at the Feraligator with all his might, one of several he long had left over from when he had tried to capture Penny. He was not about to let a pokemon like this get away.

Jack: "You're mine now, Godzilla!"

In what was less than a surprise than it should have been, 'Godzilla' reached up and caught the Net Ball in his mouth, crushed it into it's individual pieces, and then ate them.

Jack could only watch with an ambiguously irrigated/annoyed/resigned face as 'Godzilla' rolled into the water and escaped.

Jack: "Should have expected as much''

He couldn't help but wonder if he'd actually won, or if the monstrous pokemon had simply decided the fight wasn't worth it. Either way, he could at least be thankful that they were alive.

Runt: (TP) "Don't worry. We'll be better ready for him next time."

Jack: "True enough. But let's see if we can get to a pokemon center. With the condition we're in, I don't want to do anything like that again in our current condition."

Reggie: Because if you're like her, that means I'll beat you in a fight, because she always lost to me.

Crow: "Sorry, I'm not too familiar with what's [interesting] around here."

Tris:<Oh yeah? Well,we'll just see about that.

-Tris attempts to lunge at Reggie, only to be blocked by Elise-

Elise:And what do you think you're doing?

-Tris tries to act innocent-

Elise:Tris, I've known you for almost 8 years now. That's not gonna work on me.

-Tris makes a :| face as Elise recalls her-

Vrang: I'm sorry, he must have done something to provoke her.

Reggie: <I was just being protective.>

Elise:It's alright, nothing happened.

-She sends out Cola, her Beartic to take Tris's place-

Cola:-sees everyone in front of him- <Whoa! New people! Hi there!>

Azuros: <HELLO!>

- Lillith has just explained the whole deal with Evil!Goggles and Jirachi to her Pokemon, or at least the three we've seen on-screen so far -

Sasorina: (blinks) <That's... quite the story.>

Kirei: <So, you can really understand us now?>

Lillith: Yeah, I can... It's kind of weird, but... in a good way.

Proxy: <... Who are you, and what have you done to our trainer?>

Lillith: Huh?

Proxy: <Your cover story can not possibly be true. There is no possible way the events you describe could have happened!>

Lillith: What are you talking about? It really did happen...

Proxy: <No, it did not. You are obviously an alien who has replaced the real Lillith.> (glances around) <If you tell me everything you know, I won't report you to the authorities.>

Lillith: ... Has Proxy always been this weird?

Sasorina and Kirei: (nods)
