-the Lapras stares up at Tagg for a moment more, then turns to try and scoot over to the water, where he is stopped by Every- Whoa, there.

-waves to DS- (to Wolf) Well, Jab found this egg and gave it to me...he thought it was a Dunsparce egg, though.

Lapras: -notices Candida, and tilts its head- <Laa?>

Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.

I'm surprised he'd make that mistake considering where he's from, but then again few mons get to see Lapras eggs.

You're very lucky, Lapras are quite rare as I'm sure you know.

-Hoping the wall had at least been weakened yesterday, he leans forward, hoping his weight would finish the job.-

Eskay <~Come on... Break...~>

-After a few minutes, the wall starts to split...-

-And he falls, the bar falling onto his back.-

-He goes over to pet the Lapras-

-Eskay pulls the bar in front of him so that he can see his hands.-

Eskay: ~Okay... now for part 2, freeing my legs.~

-He looks at the hole he made in the wall by pulling the bar off. Using said bar, he breaks it open a bit more.-

Somewhere North of Kanto/Johto – Now

It happened faster than Jack could fully process what was going on. As he and his Onix traveled along the edge of a ravine, the man couldn’t help but get the feeling that someone was watching him. He was about to grab Runt’s pokeball to be on the safe side when Jack and Groot were ambushed by an extra-large arcanine.

Extra-Large Arcanine: <RAWR!>

Jack only had long enough to see the large hound pokemon flying at the both of them, but not enough time to react. What he saw looked like an arcanine that was clearly larger than most members of its species, and the left side of its face was scarred up, making it look like it only had one useable eye.

Jack: ”Crudmankies”

With a massive flying body slam, the wild pokemon knocked Groot off-balance and sent both flying over the edge of the ravine towards the river flowing below them. Jack tried to recall the massive rock snake, but Groot was already on top of things, twisting his body to catch onto the side of the cliff face and burrowing into the rock.

Jack could feel as the creature tried to catch him with his tail, but this only succeeded in causing the man to spin around as he continued towards the water, eventually splashing head-first. When Jack finally came up, he tried to grab onto side of the rock, but wasn’t able to get a good grip against the wet surface.

Jack: ‘’”So what goes wrong next?”’’

The obvious and correct answer was a waterfall.

Jack: “$#%^”

Not wanting to get caught up in the bottom, Jack grabbed Runt’s pokeball and prepared to call out the Abra right before he went over the edge, allowing him to teleport to safety. The idea didn’t go according to plan, starting with the surprised that he had accidentally grabbed Penny’s pokeball instead.

Jack: “YOU HAVE GOT TO BE…”

But there was no time for ranting, at least not yet. Taking what opportunity at safety he had, he grabbed on to the mystified Beedrills legs before she could figure out what was going on or fly too far away for him to catch himself. Naturally, Penny was enraged at the decision – more enraged than normal.

Trying not to press his luck, Jack held on just long enough for his bug to fly him out of the undertow zone of the waterfall, then let go and fell the rest of the way to the lake waiting below.

He hit with a massive splash, and would have swum right back to the surface if something hadn’t caught his eyes.

It was a statue – half buried, but otherwise looking like it was in pristine condition. As if someone had made it yesterday and then went to the absurd trouble of burying it in the middle of a lake. Most fascinating of all was the subject matter – it was a statue of an Alakazam.

Even so, Jack quickly made his way back to where he could breath, then swam and slogged his way to the shoreline. Hearing a familiar buzzing sound, he saw Penny flying right at him, angry as he might have expected. Jack knew the drill, and pointed the bug’s pokeball at her to recall her before falling to the ground in a heap.

Jack: “Guh!”

-narrows eyes at Vrang-

Lapras: <Laaaa? Hi!> -nips at Vrang's fingers-

-Crow has lost track of most everyone in the group, so is wandering around-

Celadon

-Maggie has too many HONEY about HONEY and feels that these HONEYs would be alleviated if she would HONEY to HONEY.

-He then notices what that room contains: A whole collection of Empire Soul stuff.-
