Clockwise: -sweeps a bow <I am Clockwise, O Lord Runt!>

-tilting his head curiously, he hops over to Jack and sticks his neck out, putting his face right in front of the trainer's-

Clockwise: <Hi! Who are you? Why are you in a tree? People don't live in trees!> -gasps- <Or do they? Are you a tree people? A tree person? That's fascinating! I've never met a tree person before! A tree person and a sorcerer in one day! I have to tell Beedrill! ... Have you seen Beedrill? Is he with the other tree people? Lucky Beedrill, meeting all the tree people and seeing their civilization! I'll have to scold him when he returns. He should have brought me!>

So... When were we heading back to Ecruteak? Or are we already there? I haven't been fully paying attention...

Olivine Gym

Forretress: -growlgrumblemumbles as the Flamethrower hits, and is quickly reduced to low health-

Jasmine: Gyro Ball!

Forretress: <Mmm.> -spins, charging Tartarus with a rolling Tackle-

Olivine Gym

Tartarus is rolled into, and takes a fair amount of damage due to the speed difference, but not too much.

Tartarus: <Hrk...>

Eskay: Flamethrower again!

We'v already arrived. -squeezes DS' hand- Want to head to the Gym?

Oh. Sure, I guess.

Ecruteak

Jack got nothing out of Clockwise's questions, just a lot of "Noctowl"s. He tried scooting away from the seemingly crazy bird.

Jack: "Runt, a little help!"

Standing up, Runt walked over to Noctowl and tried to get the birds attention.

Runt: <You're a very easily distracted bird, aren't you? He doesn't understand a word you're saying. Noctowl isn't something he's familiar with.>

Runt turned to Jack.

Runt: {Thinking out loud} "He's going on about some kind of tree people. He thinks you came from the tree"

Jack: "Well, I'm not. Runt dropped me in the tree, Ok?"

Runt: <It was an accident.>

-smiles-

Katie: Oh. Can I come with you? I want to watch DS' battle.

Olivine Gym

Forretress: <Hrrrrmph!> -faints-

Jasmine: Oh my... -sends out Steelix-

Steelix: -stares at Tartarus for a moment, repressing a chuckle, then smashes its tail into the ground, sending up a Rock Slide-

-Clockwise huffs-

Clockwise: <Well, that was very irresponsible of you! Why would you drop your Trainer?>

-he suddenly gasps-

Clockwise: <I don't have my Trainer! She's still in the other city! What if someone's gone and dropped her in a tree? I have to save her!>

-he flutters his wings, agitated

Clockwise: <Please, O Mighty Runt, come with me! My Trainer might be in danger!>

Oh, sure, Katie.

Katie: -smiles, and takes DS' other hand- Let's go!

- Nods -

Okay.

Olivine Gym

Tartarus: <AAGH!>

Tartarus is buried under a pile of rocks.

Eskay: Hang in there! One more Flamethrower!

Tartarus weakly pushes himself out from under the rocks, and fires what will likely be his last Flamethrower this match. He's teetering a bit.

Ecruteak

Runt: <I was under a lot of pressure, OK? There were a lot of Mankies involved.>

The Abra turned to his owner.

Runt: {Thinking Out Loud} "It seems he wants us to follow him to his trainer."

Jack: "Is something wrong?"

Jack began to get concerned, worried that someone might need help.

Jack: Where's his trainer located?

Olivine Gym

Steelix: -swings its head to one side, avoiding the Flamethrower- <A for effort, Houndoom.>

-and uses Iron Tail- <But it just annoys me more.>

Clockwise: <She's in that city over there! Yellowpole! I'll take you there!>

-without warning, he leaps into the air, grabs Jack by the collar in one claw and Runt by the shoulders with the others. He starts flying for Goldenrod-

Goldenrod

Probably. He might have gotten himself stuck in something.

Ecruteak City

Jake arrives at the edge of town, and notices a small tree where quite a bit of commotion seems to have happened recently. He ignores it, and pushes on into the city, in search of a cartographers.

Somewhere Over Ecruteak

Jack: YEEAH!

Wide-eyed, Jack shouted with shock as the bird lifted him into the air. Once he got over the initial surprise, he was able to mostly regain his bearings. Reaching up, Jack grabbed onto the Noctowl's leg with one arm and onto Runt with the other. He wasn't confident that the crazy bird wouldn't drop him, but he was at least confident enough that Runt would be able to teleport him to safety if it happened.

Runt: <WHEEEEEE!>

While Jack wasn't exactly terrified of his current predicament, Runt's obvious glee at the situation still managed to annoy him.

Jack: "Could you at least ask next time, please?!"

Olivine Gym

Tartarus is sent flying.

Eskay: Ouch...

Spectrum: <Hi~! ...Oh, wait, this is a battle... Ahem...>

Eskay: Spectrum, use Earthquake!

Clockwise: <No time for asking!>

-he arrives over Goldenrod and circles, looking for Crewe-

-Crewe notices a bird circling above the city-

Hey... Is that him? Oh, Arceus, he's kidnapped somebody. CLOCKWISE!

-waves frantically. Clockwise notices and swoops down, dropping Jack and Runt from a foot or two up and lands, nuzzling Crewe with concern

Clockwise: <Are you in danger?!>

Danger—? Clockwise, did you kidnap these people?

Clockwise: <They came to help you! Where are Beedrill and Likewise?>

In their balls. I don't—

-breaks off and sighs, then offers a hand to Jack-

I'm sorry, did he give you much trouble? Clockwise is a bit of a handful, but you learn to love him.

Clockwise: <You love me?>

-pats his beak-

Shut up, Clockwise.
