-Everyone is currently sleeping...save for one transfigured Swampert-

How long has it been, three, maybe four months since we entered the Pokemon only universe and ended up playing interdimensional ping-pong. I've almost forgotten what it was like to be human. Stuff like the Internet, or a lot of human food.

-Looks at the sleeping form of Initiate Nimbus-

I haven't even seen Nudi and Forecaster since I benched them after we beat Annoski at that Cathedral. I wonder how they're doing, and the rest of my Pokemon. Heh, Gaia's probably worried sick. Did I even tell Tracer about that in the first place, I don't even remember.

-Looks at (?)-

Ever since we ended up in Arceus' assho-Oh I'm sorry, Angela, Tracer's become a real asshole. I had half a mind to throttle the bird when I heard about what he said about Andre, his own damn mon. Or worse, cough on him. Yeah, I know Archen are far more robust then most prehistoric mons, but it's the thought that counts.

-Looking at the Vault Dweller-

And you. I owe you so much more, you've been a real help since you joined up with us to save your Vault from death by dehydration. (Not to mention you did save my life.) You've definitely proven to be trustworthy enough that I could let you wear the armband.

-Looks up at the stars-

I wonder, will I ever get to see my own universe again. I know this world's Entralink could probably get us back home, or failing that I could try contacting Dialga for help, but I feel that we can't leave until we manage to fix things over here. Hell, the Unown even told me my fate was to come here and fight that Reuniclus, wherever he is.

Really though, I'd like go home. To my own time, to my own universe. Where humans aren't critically endangered and dragons didn't decide to try taking over the world thanks to a Vow loophole. Where two of my friends didn't end up getting killed and another ending up a broken shell of his former self. Where my parents are. Where...Fool is. Man, I suck at this whole relationship thing. Sometimes I wonder if it would've been better for her sake if I'd said no back on that flight to Fiore.

Bah, it doesn't matter. All I can do is keep fighting and hope that we'll end up on top by the end.

-When I signed up for PEFE 5 years ago, I certainly wasn't envisioning that I'd wind up stuck in an ancient bird's body... Much less an evil bird's body with the fates of Arceus-knows-how-many mons out there hanging on it...-

<Archeops(?): "... I'm fine, the weather's just a bit uncomfortable tonight for some reason...">

<Csiki: "Do you wish for me to send for someone to make things cooler-">

<Archeops(?): "No, it's fine... I'll live. It's not as if I've been an early bird lately...">

-How am I ever gonna get out of this one? If I just pack up and leave, I'm stuck like this... And this empire can't possibly get any better in a political vacuum... But I can't just stay here forever! What about Lardna? And Pepper? And the kids? ... I hope they're all alright... Angela somehow became even more of a minefield after six centuries... And with my luck, the creep that used to run this place is now stomping around in my body while I'm stuck here walking a tightrope between trying to improve things and having to pass myself off as a mon that from what I've gathered, is an utter jerk... And that's putting it lightly!-

<Csiki: "If you say so- Wait... Are those mattress testers still on that bed of yours?">

-And points at four dozing forms-

-And Nadia... And the kids... I have no idea where they are in Johto... Or if they're even in this universe anymore... And there's everyone at home... I knew that they knew that I was looking for a way to get into another universe... But I doubt they were expecting that I'd be there for 3 months without a steady way to get home!-

<Csiki: "I'll admit, your new attitude seems to be helping morale quite a bit among the guards... But... I can't help but feel as if you've become someone else... And... I'm not sure what to think about it...">

<Archeops(?): "... Put some more thought on the matter... But it's far too late for me to give you a coherent response to that...">

-... I guess the only thing to do is to try... You won't make it to the top of Mt. Silver if you give halfway up the slope...
