ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

Nah, it's not that unusual. My character's just a bit of a fish out of water. He's been isolated a lot over the last 10 years or so, so he's not exactly "modern".

What is that thing's actual purpose, anyway? I've seen you using it for a few things.

I have no idea. At first I thought it was just to lead me to Virizion but then it stopped doing that and sometimes it changes color or temperature and the copy of me in the Dream World mentioned it having something to do with the time I was female...

So it's like a fancy mood ring?

-At some point falls asleep-

- Wakes up, having been resting my head on Artemis' body -

Huh? (yawns) Guess I must've fallen asleep without realizing... I wonder if I missed anything?

Mira: (meditating in a nearby corner) <Well, some stuff. Nothing really important, though.>

-Me and my Pokemon are asleep. The long day having taken it's toll on us.

However, a certain Legendary horse isn't. Not wanting to wake us, Keldeo I tries to sneak past us as quietly as his hooves will allow.

Unfortunately for him, the sound of his hooves is not quiet enough to keep him from waking Lake up and noticing what he's doing.-

Lake: -Quietly- <Hey, what are you doing?>

Keldeo I: -Stops, looking back at Lake as he puts his cloak on.- <I'm going to see my son.>

Lake: <What, now?>

Keldeo I: <It will be dawn soon. I understand that my son likes to get up earlier then the other warriors. As far as they know, I perished in the First Battle of Truth and ideals. And I intend to keep it that way.>

Lake: <Why?>

Keldeo I: <Because I'm not entirely sure how they would react to me. It could cause trouble, plus I prefer staying undercover.>

Lake: <...Okay. You have your reasons.>

Keldeo I: <Thank you for understanding.>

-Keldeo I goes to leave.-

Lake: <Oh, and Keldeo I?>

Keldeo I: <...Yes?>

Lake: <Good luck.>

Keldeo I: -Smiles- <Thank you, Lake.>

-Lake smiles back. Keldeo I turns, then gallops off.-

-It doesn't take long for the Legendary to reach the moor. The Pokémon knew the Unova region like the back of his hoof, allowing him to navigate Unova even without the help of the route network.

Knowing that his son would probably be awake by now, Keldeo I trots through the marshy grounds, keeping an eye out for his son.-

Keldeo I: <Knowing Keldeo, he'll most likely be up by now. He never did like sleeping in...>

-Keldeo I pauses briefly to reminisce.-

Keldeo I: -Sighs- <Why couldn't the ancient Unovans have been more like those trainers? If only there were more humans like them...Then maybe the world would be a better place, both for people and Pokémon...>

-Finally, Keldeo I reaches a clearing. There's nothing here, apart form one rather large dead tree in the middle.-

Keldeo I: <...This place...> -Trots over to the tree in the middle.- <This...This was our home...We slept under this tree, and took shelter here whenever the weather was bad...>

-Keldeo I pauses to think again, remembering all the good times he and his family had here. But he is jolted out of his thoughts when he hears the sounds of hooves nearby.

Thinking that it might be one of the warriors, Keldeo I panics, them quickly hides in the nearby trees to avoid being seen.

When the sounds of hooves stops, Keldeo I peeks out from behind the tree to see...-

Keldeo I: <...Keldeo?>

-Indeed, it's Keldeo. The little horse legendary has stopped in front of the tree.-

Keldeo: <...Mom? Dad? It's me, Keldeo...>

Keldeo I: <...Oh...>

Keldeo: <I'm not sure if you're here...But this is where we used to live, so I thought this is where I would find you...>

-Keldeo gazes up at the sky.-

Keldeo: <...Are you happy where you are now? 'Cause...I'm happy...>

-Keldeo smiles to himself.-

Keldeo: <Yeah...I've got Miss Virizion and Misters Terrakion and Cobalion...They're taking care of me...And their's Mister Luke and his friends...They're not like other trainers. They really care about their Pokémon...Plus they're fighting M' for us...>

-Keldeo I watches in silence, shocked by all of this.-

Keldeo: <...I...I'd just thought I'd tell you all of this while we're here. We may have to leave soon...>

-Keldeo looks at the tree again, slightly teary eyes. Having heard enough, Keldeo I, with tears of happiness gathering in his eyes, silent walks over to his son, unseen.-

Keldeo: <Do you miss me Mom and Dad?>

-Keldeo I stops nearby. Struggling to hold himself together.-

Keldeo I: <...Yes. I missed you...>

-Shocked, Keldeo turns around, then almost jumps at the sight of his farther.-

Keldeo: <...Dad?>

-Tears of happiness streaming down his face, the young colt rushes over to his father and gives him a friendly nuzzle, which Keldeo I eagerly returns.-

Keldeo: -Sniff- <Dad...I...I though you we're gone...>

Keldeo I: <I was gone son...-Sniff- but it's okay...I'm back now.>

Keldeo: -Sniff- <...I love you Dad...>

Keldeo I: -Sniff- <...I love you Keldeo...>

-The two stay like this a while, both happy to be together again.-

Beautiful as that was, there's something that's been bugging me. You know a filly is a female, right? A colt is the male version. Just wanted to get that off my chest. Sorry.

WHAAAAAAT?! I thought a Filly was what a young horse was called! D: Awkward...

No, a filly is a female young horse, a colt is a male young horse. A foal is just a young horse.

- Brushing my hair -

So... We'll be heading over to the Gray ruins to take out the other half of 'M, right?

Ribbons: <I guess so! And since the Elite Four will be coming along with us, I'll get to spend some more time with my mother!>

Good for you. You know, the Gray ruins never really came up when I was reading up on Unova... The names Black city and White forest did come up, but I can't find either of those places on my town map... Strange, huh?

-Yawns and wakes up-

Good morning... whoever is awake right now...

-Glances at the sleeping Elite 4 and sees that neither Grimsley nor Shauntal have noticed that I stuck the fingertrap on them yet-

- Finishing brushing my hair -

Good morning, Anom.

- I put the hair brush back into my backpack -

So, how have you been?

-I yawn, then pull myself up, stepping over my sleeping Pokémon so not to wake them.-

Oh, hey Luke. So, I guess we'll be fighting the other half of 'M soon?

- Artemis walks over to Mira, who is currently meditating in a corner -

Artemis: <So, Mira. Once all this is over... I was thinking we could finally help you understand the concept of fun?>

Mira: <I can not hear you right now. I am mentally prepraring myself for the next battle.>

Yeah, we'll probably be finishing off today. Bar any unforeseen circumstances.

I bet M isn't going to go down easy though. He's probably going to do everything he can to stop us.

- Nods -

Yeah... At least the Elite Four is helping us, and once we've taken down 'M, it won't be able to hurt anyone anymore. I hope those children return to normal once we've taken down 'M.

Chase: <And Pink the Audino's parents.>

Yeah, them too.

So... how do you feel about Wolf, anyway?

Oh, uh... I... I'm still trying to figure that out, actually.

That's good. Don't jump into something right away... but I can tell that Wolf is a very compassionate individual, and I don't see how it could be a wrong decision, if that helps. Not that I'm very good at determining human emotions and feelings...
