-I turn to look at Keldeo I.-

Oh, hello...Did you stay up all night?

Keldeo I: <Yes. Someone had to keep you safe. Don't worry though, I can go without sleep for quite a while.>

...I'll take you word for it.

Portales: -blinks- <...Hi.>

Ribbons: (walks over to Portales) <Hi, Portales. How are you feeling today?>

Mira: (wakes up and looks around for a moment, before quietly walking over to a corner by herself to meditate)

Still worried about Jane, huh?

Portales: -nods- <Yeah...> -curls his legs up to his body-

Don't worry, hopefully she'll be able to come back.

-wakes up-

Where are we?

-remembers everything that happened-

Oh, right. . . do you really think so, Tagg?

We didn't get the chance to visit it thanks to 'M, but we should be visiting it after he's dead.

I hope Jane makes it back soon... Mesprit told me that everything was going to be okay, assuming that it really was Mesprit I saw and not just a figment of my imagination... Although, I'd like to believe it really was Mesprit.

- I look over at Wolf -

After all, Wolf came back, so I guess Jane will be able to return as well.

- I notice Mira meditating by herself in a corner, she briefly opens an eye to look over at me, I wave at her. She doesn't respond, she simply goes back to her meditating -

Portales: <Oh, okay.> -looks at the pile of pokemon surrounding Jane- <She'll come back. I know she will.>

Lake: <Something the matter?>

I only have the five of you. I should probably withdraw someone from my PC to round out the team.

-I pull my Laptop out of the bag and turn it on.-

Lake: <Do you have anyone in mind?>

Yeah. I think I'll bring Pepper along. Her defensive moves will come in handy, as well as her Aromatherapy.

-I withdraw Pepper from my box, then put my Laptop away.-

Keldeo I: <Good choice. Meganium are excellent healers.>

Why else do you think I have one?

Vanilluxe: <It looks like I was right after all, and my parents were wrong. Hooray!>

-Starts flying around in circles-

Audilith: <Vanilluxe, calm down.>

Portales: -looks up at Vanilluxe- <What do you mean?>

Lake: <You should let Pepper out an explain the situation.>

Keldeo I: <Yes. Better that you explain it to her now then in the heat of battle.>

-I toss Pepper's ball, releasing the Meganium.-

Pepper: <...Oh?> -Looks around, then notices me.- <LUKE!>

-Pepper happily rushes over and hugs me with her vines.-

Pepper: <I haven't seen you since Anville Town! Are you all okay?>

...Um...

Pepper: <Oh? What's wrong?>

It's...It's my friend Jane...She...She died...

Pepper: <...Oh Luke...I'm so sorry...>

It's okay Pepper...We can grieve later. Right now, we need your help to defeat M'.

Pepper: ...-Nods- <Okay. You can count on me.>

Portales: <It was a sad book. It took me a long time to learn how to read human language. I think it was about a Ratatta?>

- Artemis wakes up and walks over to Chase -

Artemis: <Good morning, Chase.>

Chase: <Oh, hey there, Artemis.>

Artemis: (looks over at Jane) <So... She's still dead?>

Chase: <Pretty much.>

Artemis: <... Oh.>

- The two of them sit there, trying to think of something to say -

Artemis: <... Did I ever tell you about my first boyfriend? You see, shortly after my parents kicked me out of our home...>

Chase: <Your parents did what?>

Artemis: <Save your questions for later. Anyways, I was alone and hungry, and I wasn't very good at stealing stuff back then. That's when I met this group of Purrloin that...>

- Artemis tells Chase her backstory, Mira secretly listens to Artemis' story as well -
