Somewhere near Azelea Town - Several Hours later
The sun has long since set, the dark landscape now lit only by the light of the moon and the stars, the silent night broken only by the occasional Hoothoot or Noctowl hooting in the trees as they silently hunt for prey.
The darkness, however, was broken by the bright light of Woolly's tail bulb as she worked away across the plains to the Azelea Town observatory. It had taken a few hours for her to get there, but her journey would soon be over, as she spotted the large dome-shaped building on the top of a nearby hill, it's huge telescope pointed skywards as it scanned the cosmos.
Woolly smiled to herself. Soon, she'd be able to speak to the space Ampharos again.
However, she couldn't help but feel sad that Yarn wouldn't be here to see them. Even if he did make them up, they had bonded over his tales of extraterrestrial Ampharos, and she still wanted to show him that he was right about them.
Or that he had made a lucky guess.
Arceus, this was confusing.
Trying not to think about it too much, Woolly makes her way up to the observatory doors. Seeing no sign of anything like a doorbell, she knocks on the door a few times, hoping that whoever was working inside that night would be able to hear her.
Woolly: <Okay Woolly, just act cute and they'll let you in. Easy.>
She couldn't help but feel nervous though. She was so close, that failing would be devastating...

After running missions for the past several days, Jeff and co. have earned quite a bit of Poké (it would be more if not for that damn Chatot at the guild) and are having lunch in the town commons.

Azalea Observatory
Hmm, no response.
Woolly was about to knock again when she started to feel a weird sensation in her head and tail bulbs, as if some sort of ambiant force was gently trying to drive her away somehow.
Feeling rather weird, the Ampharos clutches her head, the strange sensation making her slightly uncomfortable.
Woolly: <Bleugh. Something isn't right here.>
She steps back to get her bearings and hopefully relieve the odd feeling somewhat. Taking a look around, she notices a rather foreboding red light shining from the observatory, which she knew for a fact probably wasn't normal, along with a small house nearby.
Since there didn't seem to be anyone in the observatory itself, Woolly decides to give the house a try. However, upon a approaching it, the odd feeling in her body seems to intensify for some reason.
Whatever was causing it was probably originating from inside it somewhere.
Doing her best to resist the odd feeling, Woolly approaches the door. She hesitates for a few seconds, feeling rather unnerved all of a sudden, then gently knocks on the door.

Woolly's ears twitch, the Ampharos picking up a very high pitched, but very faint noise. Far too faint for her to tell what they were, unfortunately.
Woolly: <Oh, yeah, I'm an Ampharos. I just came here to see the observatory, but it didn't seem like anyone was in, so I came here.>
She couldn't help but shiver slightly. This was all beginning to seem like something out of a horror film.
