-The Mamoswine gets beaned in the head by a stray icicle, knocking it out-

Fortis: <Aww, thanks!>

Forte: <Well, I'm okay, I guess. But Shadow got kidnapped and no one's been able to find him.>

Fortis: -gasp- <Oh my gosh! Pinkie is missing? Is she okay?>

Forte: <We don't know...>

Gullwings' House

Rikku: <Well, we used to collect other things. But that got dangerous after a while.>

Flashback

-The Gullwings are in a desert. All three are flying away from something extremely fast while a group of Cubone panics underfoot.-

Cubone: <Oh no! Here comes the fiend!>

-From out of the desert comes a giant Hydreigon, apparently very angry for being sealed away by several Maractus some time in the past.-

Hydreigon: <RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!> *fires a Hyper Beam*

Rikku: <I'm not even going to tell you about the time we had to fight an evil Wailord...>

Rouge: <Interesting... Perhaps you could let us see your collection, hm?>

-The final floor of the cavern appears to have ice sculptures, some with Pokemon encased within and others without-

Rikku: <Well, normally I would check with Dr. P...but you guys seem trustworthy enough! Besides, she's out with Yunie trying to grind up those seeds.> *flies over to a trapdoor* <Just step right in here and you'll see the Gullwings' greatest treasure!>

Rouge: <Why, of course!>

-Rouge and Shadow enter the trap door-

Katie: -hugging Fortis. She makes a good substitute for Salamence-

Giant Cage: *falls around them both, trapping them in place*

Rikku: <Isn't it awesome?> *squawks* <A loudmouth ninja sold it to us for 600 gil!> *roosts on the bars* <Now you guys just stay in there while you think about how wrong it is to rob other thieves treasure hunters. :3>

Goggles: (steps on a Spin trap, being spun around) <Whee!> (dizzily wanders around in confusion, eventually snapping out of confusion, and then step on the trap again) <Whee!>

Chase: (sweatdrops) <... Goggles, I think fifteen times is enough. Can we please go find the stairs now?>

Fortis: -is hugging Katie- <Oooh, you're nice and warm...>

Forte: <Hey! I'm the one who's supposed to be hugging her!>

Mercury: <She said she wasn't your girlfriend, boss.>

Shadow: <In retrospect, we really should have expected this.>

Treasure Town - PMD-A

Salesmon!Flygon: <...Hmm.>

Well, that sounded better than anything he could probably come up with...

A few minutes, a piece of wood, some paint, and some nails later, the top of the stand was affixed with a sign with "Finders Keep" written in...whatever language was used in Treasure Town.

Satisfied with his work, the Flygon buzzes contently.

<With any luck, that should increase business a tad...>

The Blue Bayou - PMD-B

After finding out that a friend of his was going to end up destroying humanity, Lake did what probably most Pokémon would do in his situation - attempt to drown his sorrows with drink.

The thing was...Lake wasn't an alcoholic.

So instead, he settled for downing several mugs of Sitrus juice while leaning against the bar of the local Inn, possibly with Gino and Skye.

Of course, they're depression hadn't gone unnoticed by the Innkeeper, who was also a Feraligatr.

Innkeeper: <Are you guys alright? You seem awfully depressed about something.>

Lake nodded in response, without looking up from his Sitrus Juice.

Lake: <Yeah. We've just had a rough day, that's all.>

Innkeeper: <Oh boy. What happened?>

Lake frowned, unsure how to tell him that a friend of theirs was going to commit a despicable act at a future point in time.

Lake: <...It's complicated. You wouldn't understand.>

The Innkeeper gives Lake a concerned look, then nods slowly.

Innkeeper: <If you say so. Let me know if you need a refill, okay?>

And with that, he heads off to serve yet another mug of Leppa Cider to a drunken Salamence, who was now telling his drinking buddies just how much he loved them.

Still, at least he wasn't smashing furniture anymore.

Lake pauses to take another gulp of Sitrus juice, before turning to look at his two companions.

Lake: <So...any ideas? 'Cause I've got nothing...>

-The culprits, right ahead of us, are a pair consisting of a Vanilluxe and a Froslass-

Vanilluxe: I must say, these ice sculptures you've made are quite exquisite.

Froslass: As are yours darling.

-Takes one look at us-

Oh look, intruders.

Vanilluxe: They'll all make some excellent ice sculptures.

Froslass: Indeed my dear, indeed.

Draca: -Annoyed- Oh come on.

-Fires a Flamethrower at one of the Vanilluxe's ice sculptures, melting it-

Vanilluxe: ...

...

   You're going to PAY!!!   

-Unleashes a massive snowstorm-

Pica: Yeah, nice going.

Fortis: <Ooooh, where are you going? I was off helping those funny Wingulls find something [explosively] awesome but then Aeropolis pecked this seed and it blew up but it wasn't awesome because it didn't fly but the Wingulls liked it anyway and now we're all honorary treasure hunters!>
