- I show off my Trio badge as well, the first gate opens, revealing a small green area with a few tables and chairs standing around, as well as a small river with a wooden bridge leading to the other side -

Huh, this is pretty neat! I guess behind each gate is an area based on the gym leaders we fought to get here!

Well this is pretty fancy! They didn't have anything like this before the Victory Road back in Johto!

-Passes through the second gate.

Yep. These areas are all themed.

Unite: <Heh. Yet another reason why Unova is the best region!>

Wulfric: -Rolls his eyes.- <You and your patriotism...>

Unite: <Hey, I'm a Braviary! What do you expect?>

- I walk up to the next guard to show off the Basic Badge, walks through the second gate -

Whoa, there's some tall grass behind this one. Guess wild Pokémon might appear here.

- I try to avoid wild Pokémon while I make my way towards the third gate -

-Meddler is behind us, staring at the gates in awe, clutching a spectator's pass in her hand.

Gate Keeper: Excuse me, miss?

-Jane is staring up at the gate, then further away towards the Elite Four building-

GK: Miss, if the ones that came by earlier are your friends, you can follow them and watch their battle. I'm sure they'd like knowing you were there to cheer gem on.

-Jane turns to he Gate Keeper and smiles, then continues to walk to the Elite Four gates-

GK: -softly to himself- She sure has nice yellow eyes.

- Showing off the Insect badge to the guard, the third gate opens. Behind it is a large statue resembling a bug that we have to walk right over to get to the next gate -

I haven't seen a system like this since the one in Kanto.

Yeah. why did they get rid of that cool guard system they used three years ago?

Assume this takes place say, two years after the events of HG/SS

I know, right?

-Shows the Bolt Badge to a guard-

-Flashes his Insect and Bolt Badges to the guards, then he and Meddler follow Tagg.

-Me and my Pokémon carefully step through the grass, careful to avoid any wild Pokémon.

Unfortunately...-

Random Audino: <HELLO!!!>

Jello: <OH MY!>

-Shocked, Jello blasts the Audino with a Psyshock attack, fainting the Pokémon instantly.-

Jello: <...Phew. Wait...Something's... DIFFERENT!>

-I overhear what's happening to Jello.-

Jello, are you-WOAH!

-Jello begins glowing brightly, then grows a little, suddenly gaining a pair of arms, and what looks like ears. After a few seconds, Jello flashes with a brigth light, then stops glowing, having evolved into a Reuniclus!-

...Wow...

Jello: -Checks himself- <...I have arms now.>

-Jello flexes his arms.-

Jello: <...I like that.>

...Awesome.

- I show off my Bolt Badge as well, entering the fourth gate. I walk across the metal bridge while looking at the electric generators on each side of it -

I actually went through those gates again on Pokémon Black a few moments ago just so I'd remember what was behind each gate for this.

I guess the Leauge has a bigger budget here than in other regions. That's why they can afford all that cool stuff for the gyms. Must be from what they save on taxes by combining Pokemon Centers and Marts.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

-Floats over the 5th gate's gap, while showing off his Badge to the past guard.

-I land and show my next Badge to Guard #6.

-Me and the newly evolved Jello catch up with everyone else, who went on ahead.-

Unite: <What took you guys so long? Hey! Jello, since when did you have arms?>

Woolly: <Jello? Did you evolve?>

Jello: <I believe so Woolly. Now Unite, may I try my arms out on you?>

Unite <Um...Sure?>

Jello: <Excellent.>

-Jello floats over to Unite, then uses his arms to give the bird a big hug.-

Unite: <URK!>

Lake: <Eh? ...Heh.>

Wulfric: <...Haha.>

Woolly: -Giggles.-

-Jello let's go off Unite.-

Jello: <Much obliged, Unite.>

-Jello floats on ahead.-

Unite: <...I feel so...Sticky. Eww...>

- I show off the quake badge, and walk across a small cave-like area with crystals. Showing off the jet badge, I get to a gap with strong wind blowing up from below, I carefully step forward and find myself standing in mid-air -

Cool!

- I run around on the air for a short while before moving on to the next gate -

Yeah, I actually did run around on the air in Pokémon Black when I first came behind the sixth gate before moving on to the next.

I remember doing a little of that too in White.

-Shows Guard the Icicle Badge and goes through the ice puzzle-

No matter which region I go to I always hate these things.

-Sighs- Must every region have an Ice Puzzle?
