Okay, Artemis! Mira! Use fake out!

- Artemis and Mira use their fake out attacks to make the Fraxure flinch, Artemis attacking the one on the left while Mira attacks the one on the right -

Iris: Fraxure, use dragon rage on the Mienfoo!

Mira, use detect!

- Mira shields itself from the fire ball Iris' Fraxure fires at it -

Artemis, use night slash on Iris' Fraxure!

Drayden: Fraxure, use dragon dance!

- While Artemis slashes at Iris' Fraxure with her claws, Drayden's Fraxure instead decides to increase it's attack and speed -

C'mon DS, you can do it!

-watches eagerly, hoping for tips in case my own battle goes badly-

Go DS!

...How can I possibly ignore her?

Unite: <Honestly, Dragon Rage? For Pokemon of our level, that move barely does anything!>

Wulfric: <Do you do nothing but complain, Unite?>

You'll get used to it Wulfric. Hey, when you travel with us, you'll find you can get used to anything.

-Is still upset, but begins actually watching the battle and tries not to dwell on my thoughts-

(thinking) Hmm... If I let Drayden's Fraxure use dragon dance too many times, it could become a too big a threat. I must try to take it out quickly.

Drayden: Now, Fraxure! Use dragon tail on the Liepard!

Artemis, use night slash!

- Drayden's Fraxure attempts to hit Artemis with dragon tail, but she jumps out of the way and slashes at Drayden's Fraxure with her claws, getting a critical hit -

All right! Mira, follow it up with jump kick!

- Mira runs forward, leaps into the air and kicks Drayden's Fraxure in the face -

Iris: Fraxure, use dragon rage on Mienfoo!

- Drayden's Fraxure grabs hold of Mira and attempts to hold her in place so Iris' Fraxure can hit her with its attack. However, Artemis sneaks up on the Fraxure and scratches it with her claws, causing him to drop Mira and giving her just enough time to roll out of the way. Iris' Fraxure ends up hitting its own team mate with the dragon rage attack, knocking it out -

Iris: Oops...

-feels a little guilty for snapping at Anom, but pushes it aside to cheer for DS-

-cheers-

Unite: <AHAHAHAHAHAHA! NO WAY! THAT WAS HILARIOUS! AHAHAHAHA!>

-Woolly, tiered of Unite's heckling, uses Thunderwave on him.-

Unite: <URRRRRRK!!!>

Woolly: <Stop that or I'll shock you again.>

Lake: <Nice one Woolly.>

Jello: <Well handled.>

Good job Woolly.

Wulfric: <Oh Woolly, you're amazing...>

Iris: Sorry I messed up, Drayden.

Drayden: (recalling Fraxure) It's okay, it wasn't your fault.

- Drayden puts away Fraxure's pokeball and takes out the pokeball containing his next Pokémon -

Drayden: Let's see how the challenger will handle this one, go Druddigon!

- Drayden sends out his Druddigon -

-Makes it into the gym, using the gym trainer's Pokemon as cannon fodder for Pawniard to level up. Heads to the Gym Leader's platform, and holds up a huge sign saying "I'M NEXT TO CHALLENGE THEM!"

Hmm...

-I pull out my Pokédex and scan the Druddigon.-

Pokédex: Beep! Druddigon: The Cave Pokémon. It races through the narrow caves, using it's claws to catch prey. The skin on it's face is harder than a rock.

Sounds rather nasty. Looks nasty too.

- Artemis sharpens her claws as she prepares to face Druddigon -

Iris: Fraxure, use dragon tail!

- Iris' Fraxure hits Mira with her tail -

Mira, use drain punch!

- Mira proceeds to punch Iris' Fraxure, draining its strength to regain some of her energy -

Drayden: Druddigon, use chip away!

- Druddigon attempts to strike Artemis, but she hops out of the way -

So what's happened so far?

Steven Stone: I'm going with you.

Me: No, I'm not going to risk anyone else this time. That's why I'm going alone.

Steven Stone: You're not willing to risk me, but you're willing to risk everyone M's assimilated if you fail.

Me: -Silent for a few moments- Fine. But you have to go by my rules.

Steven Stone: Yes ma'am

Me: And you're paying for your own ticket.

Steven Stone: -Holds up ticket- Already got one.

Gamer has a Pawniard, I have the book the original Pokedex Project was going toward, and DS is in the middle of her Gym Battle.

-Watches silently-

Artemis, use hone claws again, follow it up with night slash!

- Artemis sharpens her claws and increases attack and accuracy again, before proceeding to slash Fraxure with her claws, knocking it out -

Iris: (recalls Fraxure) Fine, now you get to face my Druddigon!

- Iris sends out her own Druddigon to fight alongside Drayden's Druddigon -

Okay, Mira! Use jump kick!

- Mira leaps into the air and kicks Iris' Druddigon in the face as it enters the field -

Lake: <Nice Slash Artemis!>

Woolly: <Ooh, that Dragon Tail before looked like it hurt!>

Keep it up DS! You're doing well so far!

Unite: -Can't speak due to Paralysis. Looks annoyed.-

Drayden: Now, use revenge!

- Drayden's Druddigon uses revenge, hitting Artemis hard -

Iris: Follow up with chip away!

- Iris' Druddigon smacks Artemis with its claw, the two attacks end up knocking out Artemis -

Artemis, return! Mira, use drain punch!

- While I recall Artemis, Mira uses drain punch to drain some energy from Iris' Druddigon -
