Ion steps forward to face off against Serge, who lays back his ears and hisses.

<All right, horn face... Are you ready to rumble?>

<Um... yes?> Ion swishes his tail back and forth nervously.

Cesar pecks Hunter's arm, glaring at him.

"Ow! Relax, Cesar. We don't want this to be too easy. Besides, Serge is too weak right now to take down her other three fliers."

Cesar pecks him again.

"OW! Seriously, dude, chill! I've got this. Serge, Bite."

<Not Leer? You're losing your edge, dude. But whatever.> Serge shrugs and complies with his Trainer.

"Okay, Ion, let's make this quick. Earthquake."

<How do I do that again? Oh!> Ion stomps on the ground hard, making it shake violently. Serge gets tossed around, trying to get close enough to the Nidoking to Bite, but is knocked out before he get close in.

Hunter recalls the Luxio, smirking.

"Let's get the real battle started. Trix?"

<Ooooh, yes.> The Golduck cracks her knuckles, grinning.

"Do your thing."

Trixie jumps up and does a flip onto the battle field, hopping from foot to foot.

<Bring it on, little bunny. Let's dance.>

Ion blinks, looking nervous.

<Um... why don't we battle instead?> he asks, taking a step back. Trixie rolls her eyes.

<A little slow, huh? Oh well. No one ever said all battles were exciting. Hunter?>

"Um... Earthquake, again."

"Let's show 'em those acrobatics! Hydro Pump!"

-Jeff sees Silent and Steven entering the café and heads over to greet them-

To Mr. Incognito:

"Ah yes, this place is called Cherrygrove. You could ask the old man in the entrance for a tour, assuming he is still alive." — points to the southwest — "But the sea is that way, and it is quite pretty."

Ichtacya -raises an eyebrow: <We are not going into salt water again, right?>

"No."

Heading into the cafe.

"Hey, Jeff! Nice to see you! And sorry for being so late..."

Sol quickly rushes to Jeff's table and climbs to a chair.

Sol: <This one is mine!!!> — hisses.

Silent follows to the table; however the only available chair is occupied by Sol.

Silent goes pick another chair up, brings it in and sits.

Sol: <I'll want some milk.>

Ichtacya meanwhile goes to sleep under the table.

"So, Jeff. You say you want to join PEFE. Any reason in particular?"

Pastoria, inside Mezzo's tent

Fortis: What are you so sad about, little guy? Is something wrong?

Mercury: <You don't look weird, boss.>

"Well, It'll give me something interesting to do that benefits society."

-picks up Mix and heads back to the tents-

"I'm sure they will. -hears Sol- What? Someone Draco Meteor'd you? Why?"
