Two Weezing let out a smokescreen then a Roselia fires some Razor Leaves into it, hoping to knock out more LEOs.

????'s Operative: "Come on come on! Can't you detach the machines yet?"

????'s Operative -comes back from another room: "We can't! They're charged and operational! And there are two Tango Eights coming in here by another corridor holding us back!"

A noise is heard coming from the corridor, prompting the first splinter operative to command the second one to return to the engines room. Then the first operative reequips some night vision glasses and special equipment and detects a figure trying to sneak into the corridors.

????'s Operative -to the Roselia and a Manectric: "Spot on! Left side, two clicks! Go go go!"

The two Pokémon enter the smokescreen charging their elemental powers; after about a full minute, some attacks can be heard.

????'s Operative: "...Uh? ...Ice Beam? None of our mons..."

He is interrupted by the Roselia being knocked back by an Ice Beam, kneeling and fainting. Before the operative can move for a recall, Manectric is tossed back from the corridor as well, a large cut going from his shoulder to the flank.

????'s Another Operative: "...What the- Damn. You and you! Go go go!" — signals to an Electrode and Carvanha.

The two Pokémon enter the smokescreen carefully. Some seconds later, more battle sounds can be heard, and a Pokémon is harshly pressed against the walls. Seeing something, the operative ducks to avoid a barrage of Poison Stings, and when he wakes back up he manages to see the faint image of Carvanha lying on the ground, fainted. Electrode can be heard yelping in pain as well beyond the smoke curtain.

Another shadow appears walking through the corridor and after a moment Maekrite reveals himself, equipped with a military armor, an Eviolite and Pankaja's tracker-earring. Three more Pokémon rush into the corridor only to be soundly defeated, while without Maekrite noticing, an Electrodes is sent into the corridor as well for a Selfdestruct.

A large explosion covers the corridor and the grunt lets out a "Yes!" only to notice the Nidorino walking out of the smoke; the Pokémon fires a Thunderbolt at the grunt, knocking him unconscious to the ground.

The corridor almost cleared, Maekrite turns tail and runs back at the group, only to notice Casval and Wally there. Well, mostly the apprentice, who comes out from nowhere and runs at him.

Maekrite: <...Eeeeee~> — hops back — <Y-you sneaked upon me!>

Silent appears there as well checking the radio and the underground schematics.

"...Casval? Wally? Good to see you are fine." — holds off the radio — "Did you meet much opposition?"

Mt. Pyre

Nero: -growls at Marmalade- <I'll tear you apart...>

Marmalade: -chitters- <Please. You couldn't beat me the last time we fought, and that was before I learned how to move faster than a Magcargo!>

Nero: -growls and leaps at Marmalade...before being recalled-

Wait, what?

Marmalade: <Hey!>

Vilkas: Like I'd let you have your opponent of choice. There was obviously a reason you chose the Vibrava against Nero, or you'd have gone with a stronger mon. So let's see what happens this time. -sends out Lucien-

Marmalade: <...Oh, not fair.>

-PEFE!Every is currently making use of the Fortree PC. For some reason, he's withdrawing several teams' worth of Pokeballs-

Nurse Joy: What are you doing?

PEFE!Every: ...What are you doing? Shouldn't you be evacuating?

Nurse Joy: Oh no, I'm glued to the floor.

PEFE!Every: ...And they call me weird. -continues withdrawing Pokemon from the PC-

Random Boy #1: And all they care about are the popular ones like Eevee. You know how many Eevee I saw today?

Random Boy #1: Five. Five of those stupid little foxes. It's like that's all people care about anymore! Who cares about the hundreds of different Pokémon we have when you can just use Eevee?

Forte: -pauses mid-stride-

Random Boy #2: Yeah, it's as bad as Pikachu.

Random Boy #1: No, it's worse! It's just Eevee Eevee Eevee! So what if it has a bunch of evolutions? They all do the same thing anyway.

Forte: They do not!

Random Boy #1: I'm sorry?

Forte: You don't know anything about Eevee, do you?

Casval: "We're all fine. Well, mostly. We took a few Self-Destructs that were easily shrugged off."

"No, you shrugged them off. They had nearly no effect on Ms. Artesia, and the rest of us had our hands full evading the Pokémon."

I believe the only damage we sustained was this man injuring his left leg.

Narrator: It was through friendly fire...

Casval: "Seeing as the exit was clogged with even more enemies, we broke through the walls to escape. And so, here we are."

Artesia: "Though I did most of the protecting. I've absorbed enough energy to power my own city. It'll take a while to discharge all this..."

Lucien: <Heh...I'll enjoy this...>

Marmalade: <Shut up.>

-Lucien takes the Sonicboom, then heals it with a Sitrus berry and grows a new berry with Harvest-

Lucien: <Heh, no. THIS is how you fight!> -charges solar energy before firing a Solarbeam at Marmalade-

Marmalade: <Ack!> -Digs underground to dodge-

Lucien: <Heh...you can't hide forever...and with the power of the sun, I'll soon destroy you.>

-PEFE!Every has now stuffed about twenty Pokeballs into his backpack, and runs out of the Pokemon Center-

Nurse Joy: We hope to see you again soon!

There was a earthquake at mt pyre!

Brit: I bet somfink is gonna blow soon.

Outside the hideout

-Notices that the ground is shaking even more-

Helios: <I wonder if the volcano my mother talked about was like this.>

Silent frowns at the "absorbing energy" part but decides to ask questions later.

Maekrite -to Casval: <Glad you likes used the walls! These can take a lot of damage!> — shakes himself off.

The SWAT leader arrives and nods at Silent, then at Casval and Artesia.

SWAT Leader: "We have almost cleared the rooms, there's only one room remaining, the core control center, and our systems indicate there are three men barricaded in there, trying to do something to the machines."

"Hmmm... we need to disable these systems somehow because Charon is using them for [   something   ], but we can not use any drastic measure. Any suggestions, Casval?"

SWAT Leader: "...Who are those people? Reinforcements?"

Silent nods.

-hears tagg-

-happy flies to hideout-

Mt. Pyre

-notices the shaking, but doesn't really give it much thought. Vilkas is becoming noticeably worried-

Marmalade: <Hragh!> -bursts from the ground, propels herself up with a flap, and sinks her mandibles into Lucien's leg-

Lucien: -bellows in pain and rage, firing a Solarbeam at Marmalade-

-Marmalade pushes herself up, scurrying up onto Lucien's back and only sustaining a slight graze from the Solarbeam. Thanks to the level gap though, it still hurts quite a lot-

Marmalade: <Argh...take this, you stupid lemon tree!> -Crunches Lucien's back-
