Because of Ichtacya chasing after them incessantly, the Pelipper decide to abandon the beach; they fly away and start congregating on a flock [near the airship].

Skies of Hoenn

Suddenly, the cloud in which Rayquaza had hidden is sucked in into a small bubble of energy; from the last remains of it Foreign!Salamence emerges flying upwards in a Dragon Dance, and after reaching enough altitude, he sways to the side to avoid Rayquaza targeting him easily.

After gaining some extra distance, Salamence charges the absorbed power in his muzzle at a very high temperature and shoots a boiling, steaming modified Twister right in Rayquaza's direction.

Past Lilycove

Ryklys: ...I suppose that is fair... healing at the HQ?

Mossdeep Beach

Rufus: -is jammed on top of a Corpfish- <You did this on purpose.>

Pokécenter

Tangent: -decides to check the location on Rufus's tracker-

Outside Space Center

-Jab enters- <Ooh, everything's shiny! >

Outside Airbase

-sticks a hand out of the underside of the Ominous Cloud and waves to Onion-

Rayquaza: <What the-? ARGH!>

Rayquaza roars in pain a he's buffeted by a twister of boiling water. Lacking the concetration to defend himself with a Protect or a Safeguard, he choses to counter by retaliating with a Dragon Pulse attack of his own.

Stratus, meanwhile, is shocked at the Salamence's technique, having never seen it before. He wondered...could any of the Salamence he knew use it?

Whetever the case, it seemed this Pokémon was full of surprises...

Outside Airbase

-waves back-

Xakk: <Okay, so what do we do?>

Nothing right now. Just find a window we can look through.

Xakk: <I wish Husk were still here. He'd have some fun things to play with. Things that make fires. Big ones.>

Crewe follows him in and looks around, head cocked to the side.

Vyvyan: But who will be the distraction?

Crewe wanders around, poking at things and getting weird looks from workers.

<Whatever it is, I bet it's something really cool.>

-To Kim as I start walking a bit faster, and the urns seem to be getting closer-

They're found in tombs and ruins mainly. They eat metals, including gold...and tomb robbers. Normally they look like sarcophagi, but I see these guys here have a more Hoennese flavor. From what I heard of what happened in the Relic Castle, I have no desire to engage these things if I can avoid it. Especially with that-Shudders-Mummy ability of theirs.

[Ichtacya] is watching [the] Pelipper go away, walks around wondering what is going on and then observes something particular in the beach. She walks around to check.

Skies of Hoenn

Knowing himself too close to Rayquaza to avoid the attack, even with the speed bonus, Foreign!Mence charges Dragon Claw in both of his paws and raises them, hoping to blunt the effect of the Dragon Pulse even if by a little.

Foreign!Mence: <...Whaaaaaaaaargh~>

Still, he is hit with almost full force, and emerges from the smoke of the ensuing explosion thurst out of control, wings and claws singed.

Space Center

Jab: <Oh, definitely.> -hops into one of the chairs- <Hey, it spins!>

Outside Airbase

-Xakk flies over to Every and Fade, and look through the window-

Crewe laughs.

<Don't hurt yourself!>

She finds her own chair and starts it spinning, then hops up onto it and is nearly flung off.

Off to the side, a worker is talking urgently with a security officer.

Outside Airbase

Now we just need to find a way in...

...

that doesn't involve destruction.

Space Center

-Jab continues spinning, eventually falling off after getting too dizzy-

Over by the wall, the security is speaking into his walkie talkie.
