Kat walks ahead, swinging her club randomly, unhindered by the growing sandstorm.

Sol — <...> — examines her surroundings psychically.

Silent turns to Luke and his Pokémon.

"I hope my other mons are not having any trouble back at the Inn... So, Luke... how have your Pokémon been doing?"

Rex: *snickers a little at Infernape* Hmm...y'know, I could probably get you one of those machines for your Lampent if you want. You'd have to come along with us for a while, though. *lowers his voice to a whisper* Personally, I'd stick with Every and Mezzo. Or Silent. Or Katie. ...DS is cool too. Everyone else will end up trying to top this whole stuck in other peoples' mind thing.

Inn

Robin: <I sense that you are experiencing feelings of tenderness for the younger Mezzo.>

Katie: Shh! Not so loud, Robin.

Maekrite walks behind the group, getting weaker by the moment.

Teala seems to notice and slows down to walk besides him, her body offering some shadow and protection from the heat.

Maekrite — <I'm OK... not. Uck... I have sand so deep in my ear...>

Maekrite hears Lake, but rather than responding he casts a mild Leer at him. Then he buffs, lowers his head to the ground and keeps walking.

He's been with me my entire trip, ever since he was a Chimchar. Of course, since then he's picked up an attitude...lousy monkey. But a flareon? That's AWESOME. I love the Eevee Evolutions.
