Ichtacya is wandering along, somewhat depressed, when she hears something that sounds like a Seviper. She decides to go look, just in case, for no in-universe reason.

Salamence: (to Artemis) <Um....we'll handle that when it becomes an issue. :3>

Meanwhile

Breeze: (to Guarde) <You want to fight, fine!>

-sends out Diesel, who counters Guarde's Night Slash with an X-Scissor-

-Breeze then proceeds to explain EVERYTHING to Maekrite. Really, EVERYTHING-

<...So now we just need to pick up Jab, and then we'll be on our way to the Aqua base. Okay?>

Meanwhile

Marmalade: <So, what's on your mind?>

Jab: <...>

Marmalade: <Right, sorry.>

-Still attacking, wondering how long this is going to take-

Seviper: *rises above the grass, lifting Minty with her tail* <Ssso, are you out here alone? Sssurely your trainer isss nearby?>

Minty: <W-well...I came with some other Pokemon...and some of my trainer's friends...>

Seviper: <How curioussss. I've never met ssssuch an odd Pokemon as you. ...Well, maybe one other one.> *extends her tongue, tickling Minty with it teasingly*

Minty: <Eee!>

-Guardé has his Night Slash deflected by Diesel's X-Scissor.-

Guardé: <Fine, if that's the way you want to do things, so be it! Have at you!>

-The Gallade counter-attacks with a Psycho Cut.-

Guardé: *To Maekrite.* <And I'm not a loony!>

Maekrite — <Hang on, hang on! I need to remember all of that!> — retreats for a moment; then turns to Guardé. — <Oh please, just look at yourself! I mean, there's self-confidence and you!> — growls.

Silent finds Shahinne, who is inspecting a food pot.

"...Shahinne? I have a gift for you."

Shahinne — <...Oh? Really? Is it Dintel?>

"Uhm... no..." Looks at Shahinne staring. "But it's still good and pretty. Look!" Produces the [Shahinne Plushie]!

Shahinne — <Wheee~ Looks like me!>

Shahinne jumps in to hug the Shahinne Plushie... and promptly disappears with a poofing sound.

"..." Silent looks around. "O'kay... gotta keep looking."

Outside

Ichtacya walks in and finds a Seviper... closing in on Minty!

Ichtacya — <MINTY!!!!!> — sets into battle stance, growls at the Seviper.

Inn

Marmalade: <Well, yeah. I evolved pretty recently. You should've seen it, I fought this Dunsparce in a suit of armor. Still lost though, but look at how awesome I am now!>

Jab: -has given up hope of being let go-

Meanwhile

Breeze: (to Maekrite) <Don't worry, take your time.>

-Guardé nearly trips over somebodies' IV line, but thankfully manages to both not trip, but avoid a nasty accident.-

Guardé: <Phew! Well, if relinquishing Every means hurting you, Diesel, then that's how it must be!>

-Guardé suddenly splits into four separate Gallade, who then shift positions using teleport to disorient Diesel.-

Guardés: <Avoid this!> *Attacks with Psycho Cut, while talking to Maekrite.* <And what's that supposed to mean?>

-the roots ripple in the earth and start striking everyone-

-Star runs towards the main area-

-Is stopped by an energy blast-

This is reminding me unpleasantly of fighting Celebi...at least I've got a weapon this time.
