As I've said before, dealing with Pokemon is like dealing with children.

Keldeo: <Aww...I guess the seed-thingy didn't wanna' play...>

-Keldeo trots back over to me, a little disappointed.-

I'm surprised the caves aren't filled with Woobat like how every other region has caves full of Zubat and Golbat.

Yeah, those Zubat and Golbat can be pretty annoying since they're everywhere. Crobat is an awesome Pokémon, though. Although it would be nice if those Zubat and Golbat would stay away once you had managed to catch one, but it always seems like the Pokémon you want to catch never show up, while the ones you already have are everywhere.

Goggles: (licks one of the floating stones)

Goggles! Stop that!

The funny thing is, with all my years of being a Trainer, I've never once raised a Crobat, despite the fact that they're pretty easy to find.

-after finding somewhere where I hopefully won't be disturbed, I let out Weavile and Masque, then with a deep breath release the Zoroark chief, who is quickly restrained by Weavile-

Masque: <She is... angry. Who is she?>

A new team mate. Masque, would you mind just translating what she says? Uncensored, please.

Masque: <She is a Dark type. I cannot force my way into her mind, unless she allows me too, as Weavile does, or forces her emotions out, as she is doing now.>

-turns to the Zoroark and takes a deep breath-

Okay, listen. I know you don't particularly like me, or trainers in general. But I want to explain myself to you, and to do that I'd like to hear your reactions. Will you let Masque translate?

-Masque looks from me to the Zoroark, then shuts his eyes, crossing his arms across his chest-

Zoroark Chief: <Very well. But speak fast, human.>

... Thank you. First, did you ever have... a name?

Zoroark Chief: <No. I have little need for a name.>

Well, I like to name my teammates. And you're one of them now. How does... Hecate sound?

Zoroark Chief: -thinks it over- <If I will be forced to have a name, I suppose that one is not awful.>

Okay then, you'll be Hecate from now on. Also, I know you don't like me much, but I'd like you to meet my team, maybe they can tell you about me. I have my Empoleon, he was my very first Poke—

Hecate: <No. Too biased, he has been with you too long. Who is your most recent capture?>

-thinks- Um... Rampage, maybe, but he won't fit in this clearing. On my Sinnoh team, it would probably be Weavile here.

Hecate: -looks at Weavile- <... Very well. But I won't have you listening to us.>

-Masque opens his eyes and turns to me as Hecate turns to Weavile-

Masque: <She has cut off connection with me. I can no longer hear her.>

That's okay, Masque. Let her have her privacy.

-sits down on a handy tree stump and sighs-

How am I going to explain her to Anom? D'you think he'll want revenge on her for Yanmega? Or Wolf, for that matter. She did attack us.

-Masque shrugs and sits cross-legged on the ground-

Masque: <For better or worse, she is part of the team now. We will protect her.>

Also, I think I might Retcon her down to my Unova team's level (around 30-35) so she can be part of that, and just have had her former trainer invent the Night Daze TM and then lose it or something. xD

If you leave her at a high level, she'll disobey you until after Opelucid. Easy way to prevent yourself from having a Disc-One Nuke. Also, I don't think we've ever actually had a disobedient Pokemon in the RP before. Jane's Frillish never really had the chance.

... True. Though I was trying to model my RP team after my ingame team, where I have a Zoroark... Maybe she disobeys because she just doesn't like me?

Either way, it's your choice. When I was controlling her, she had every available move for Zoroark. Just pick and choose what she can't use according to the situation.

Yeah, I'll come up with a moveset for her eventually... maybe I'll just cut out moves she wouldn't have naturally learned and keep some T Ms that aren't horribly overpowered.

Probably for the best. Her backstory was entirely an excuse to give her T Ms so she wouldn't be curbstomped by Anom's bugs, so...cut what you will. You can clean her up eventually too if you want to. She's supposed to be visibly wild.

Yeah, I was gonna address that later. No need to add to the Wall of Text. I'm gonna find a list of her moves so I can choose what she has and doesn't have.

Last thing, I swear. Rather than invent a TM, retcon Night Daze into an egg move. She said she was hatched, so it could have been bred onto her.

sorry I was gone, lunch ate up my time. Also, my RP team is based on the pokemon I have in my Fav Team box sans Frillish, Deerling and Servine. I intend to evolve them very soon.
