Portales: -waves- <My name's Portales. That's with emphasis on the e-s at the end. My trainer has an Ampharos too. Her name is Spoons. I'm sure she'd like to meet you someday.>

Ohm: <Oh, yay; more Ampharos to meet! What kind of Pokemon are you?> *overhears someone else say the word Ampharos* <Baah?> *looks in Wolf's direction briefly before turning back to Portales* <...!> *looks back at Wolf, recognizing him* <Oh, there's someone! I recognize that guy from the video game.>

-Breeze is browsing everything, and comes across a Chimecho- <Hi!>

Other Chimecho: <Hello!>

Breeze: <Who are you?>

Chimecho: <I'm Breeze, Every's Chimecho!>

Breeze: <...No you're not. I am.>

Chimecho: <What are you talking about? I'm clearly Breeze. See?> -does a twirl-

Well, we don't go looking for adventures. They just seem to find us. We're always the right people at the wrong place.

-the two Chimecho start fighting, launching each other around with Psychic attacks-

-Every watches and almost blinks, but that would give him away-

-looking at a print of me and DS standing in a field of white flowers. It's pretty nice-

-the one next to it is of a hooded figure in silhouette against the moon, leaping from...somewhere. It's not anyone I recognize-

Excuse me?

Artist: Yes?

-holds up the print- Who is this?

Artist: -seems offended-

Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean that it wasn't clear. I'm...kind of new to the fandom, I guess. I don't recognize them from anything.

Artist: Oh...that's the Red Ranger.

Who is that?

Artist: It's just a fan nickname. They don't have a real name yet. We barely know anything about them. They showed up for just a minute or so in the season finale, and hasn't appeared in the new season yet. The show's head writer is actually running a panel in a few minutes. If you're lucky, he might drop some hints.

Thanks. -buys the DS/Wolf print, and the Red Ranger one out of gratitude, then heads to the panel room-

-Decides to walk over to Aqua HQ to get my mons healed-

Breeze: <I'm Breeze!> -Shadow Balls the other Chimecho-

-whose bell and tail falls off, revealing-

Breeze: <...You're a Hoppip.>

Hoppip: -looks around shiftily for a bit before running away-

Breeze: -sighs and goes to look around for more interesting stuff or other J-team members-

Writer: -comes out on stage, to wild applause-

-sits in the back row, paying careful attention to the crowd-

Writer: How's everybody doing?

-crowd cheers-

Writer: Well, we've got a lot to get through, today, so we shouldn't waste any time. I've got exclusive footage for you all. Today, you'll get to see the next all-new episode.

-the crowd goes nuts-

'Writer: As well as a trailer featuring footage from the first half of the season. And I want to have lots of time for questions, so let's get this show started!

-the episode plays. It's almost completely incomprehensible to me, between not knowing any of the events leading up to it, and the noise of the crowd whenever nearly anything happens. Maybe once I actually watch the show, I'll understand it better-

-the lights come up-

Writer: And now we're going to open it up for questions.

If anyone has anything they want to know about the J-Team television show, ask now. I've got some stuff that will definitely be in there, but there's so much stuff that I probably haven't thought about, so any ideas you imply might make it into the actual program. I just ask that you please try not to be too specific, or at least run questions about specific events by me (preferably via PM, so we don't clog this up). I want to leave myself open to actually write this.

Random Audience Member: *raises his hand* Is the Red Ranger that Paras guy? Or the guy with the magic train?

Writer: Hmm... Without giving too much away...no. You'll get some answers on the Red Ranger pretty soon, I think. They're the focus of a major arc coming up mid-season. Next question?

BTW, Season 1 goes through to about the first half of the OI. If questions don't quite jive with what I'm planning, I'll have Writer assume that the person is asking about the real J-Team, in relation to the show.

Team Aqua, Slateport HQ, Medical Wing

-the medical bay is dominated by tanks of neutral solution, though beds for non-aquatic Pokémon exist as well-

Staffer: Um... are we really supposed to be treating teams like this guy's? I mean, he's not on the Team, there's a perfectly good Pokécenter down the street, and he doesn't really need any specialist attention... most of these aren't even water!

Ryklys: -eyes narrow- Are you contradicting a superior?

Staffer: I just meant-

Ryklys: -raising her voice- This is the finest aquatic clinic in the region. Do you want your record to say we fired you for incompetence?

Staffer: Ah! No! I'm sorry ma'am!

Ryklys: -gritting her teeth slightly- Then I suggest you do your job, and leave the policy to those fit to make it.

Staffer: ._. *takes Tagg's Pokémon for treatment*

J-Con

Pink Catgirl Cosplayer: *walks past Every, then stops, and floats a couple feet in the air to get a better look at him*

Pummelo Stadium - Yesterday

Algira is still faster enough than the Electabuzz to hurl her Shadow Ball at him, but she is hit by a powerful Electro Ball afterwards, and shocked to the ground.

Algira — <That    bzzzzt    I don't- ×_×> — faints.

Silent recalls the Masquerain, shakes his head and sends out Copahue.

Copahue -looks at the Electabuzz then turns to Silent — <You got to be kidding me.>

"I'm not. I'm counting on you to at least resist one hit, that's all I'm asking for."

Copahue narrows his eyes at the Electabuzz, then sets off to fly around the rocks.

-just watches the Cosplayer-

Writer: Yes, yes there are -chuckles- Seriously though...what can I say...there will be a new love triangle coming up between three characters you would not expect.

Writer: The Palkia effect is actually something we're very proud of. We figured that CG looked really hokey, so we created an elaborate, small-scale puppet, and use digital effects to integrate footage of it on a scale set, with the footage of our live actors.

-is hanging out by the door, so I can slip away unnoticed after the presentation, or so I won't disturb anyone if I leave before then-
