ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

-Wonders if Anom is on the boat as well-

-Shahinne coos at Rex, then presses herself against him-

Shahinne — <Something with light. I like warmth more... *yawn*> — shakes her head to continue looking around.

Rex: *is pressed again* Awwwww~ *briefly contemplates keeping Shahinne before immediately (albeit sadly) dismissing the thought* You'd probably like Moltres, then. It's a really warm bird. It might be too warm for you, though. *notices her yawn* Are you sleepy, Shahinne? Do you want to rest?

-Shahinne yawns once but shaker her sleep off-

Shahinne — <No sleep! I want to see birds! But don't tell Trainer that I don't sleep, coo! :3>

-flies to sit on Rex's head-

-The Seagallop Ferry makes it to Boon Island-

-cuddles Mezzo-

Breeze: <Hey, Trainer!>

-ignores-

Breeze: <Trainer?>

-ignores-

Breeze: <...Oh.>

Sunny: <What is it, Breeze?>

-Breeze shows Sunny the text-

Sunny: <Hey! Your friends are leaving you behind!

...Where's Boon Island anyway?>

-Mezzo, meanwhile, keeps cuddling with Every-

Rex: *is perched on* Awwww~ Okay, we can go see the birds. I'm not sure if they're still around, though. :3

Rex and company head into a nearby forest, heading towards the island's beach which lies on the other side. In the trees of the forest are Caterpie, Weedle, Paras, Venonat, and some silly Pidgeys.

-Looks over at Anom-

-Decides to play some Scrabble with Nets-

Nets: <Scrabble is such a peaceful game. Nothing ever goes wrong when you're playing Scrabble... Unless someone makes up a word and causes someone to flip the board over...>

Breeze: <No idea. But I had Fade steal a map, she'll be back soon.>

-Every kisses Mezzo on the cheek-

Shamouti Island

-Shahinne sits proudly on top of Rex's head, singing to keep herself awake-

-At the sound of her trills, the chirps and calls of the Pidgeys around there stop. Some Pidgeys stand on the branches of the nearby trees-

Pidgeys — <...> — glare at Shahinne silently.

Mandarin Island S

-Ichtacya awakens for a moment, noticing Aqua by her side, and starts licking her. Still a bit clouded by the effects of the sedatives, she doesn't notice Blossom-

Crewe sits down on the log outside the tent, holding her head in her hands and breathing deeply.

No more... No more... No more releasings, no more unhappiness. I'll be a Trainer now. I have to be a Trainer.

After a few minutes, she slowly lifts her head to see the remnants of her team gathered in a semicircle around her, not too close. All have various levels of concern on their faces (yes, even Hecate, though I bet none of you saw that coming, did you?), and Crewe smiles weakly at them, hoping she didn't start crying. Which she probably did, but she doesn't want to admit it and so ignores it.

"Hi, guys..."

Dana runs over and props herself up on her knee.

<Trainer?> the little Rattata tilts her head.

Crewe scratches her behind the ear, then speaks in the hopes of cutting her off in case she was intending to ask about Robin.

"Hi, Dana. Do you want to do something fun? Like we used to?"

Dana immediately perks up. <Yay! Fun! Let's do something fun!> She drops down and chases her tail a little.

Crewe scoops her up and sets her on her shoulder, then stands up and faces her Pokemon. She clears her throat and starts talking.

"I'm sorry, all of you. I haven't been fair to you, I know. And I know I've made promises I haven't been so great at keeping..." she locks eyes with Hecate for a moment, then the Zoroark looks away.

"But that ends today. I swear to you all, I will be the Trainer you've deserved from the start, the Trainer I never was. And none of you will ever go unloved, as long as you remain on this team, and forever afterwards."

She takes a deep breath and pets Dana.

"From now on, I promise I won't be Battler. I will do the best I can for each and every one of you, but I will never cross the line again."

She locks eyes with Skywalker. "I'm sorry, Skywalker. I never should've done that to you. And I'm sorry that you found it okay for me to act that way."

He opens his mouth to speak, then closes it and looks away. Crewe turns back to the group.

"Now, if it's okay with all of you... I think it's time we found a new place to explore. As a team."

Electivire steps forward and thrusts her fist into the air.

<As a team!>

<AS A TEAM!> the rest of her Pokemon join in, Dana waving her paw in the air, and Hecate even smiling a little, if almost imperceptibly.

Crewe smiles and hugs Electivire. The rest of her Pokemon rush forward and join the group hug, and Crewe buries her grin in Electivire's shoulder, glad to feel as if her team is finally the family it was really meant to be, all along.

-kisses Every back-

Sunny: <Are you sure that's such a good idea?>

Felis: <Yes. This will be fun to watch.>

Rex: *notices the Pidgey seem unusually upset* I wonder what's wrong with them... Oh well. Hey, Shahinne, do you want a berry? :3

Aqua: *blinks her eyes open tiredly* <Hmm?> *nuzzles Ichtacya*

Breeze: <Oh, it'll be fine. Just watch.>

-Fade floats through a random door, which has been erected devoid of any wall and seem to exist solely to obstruct. A loud thump comes from the other side, and Fade smirks-

Fade: <Map.> -tosses a rolled-up piece of paper to Breeze-

Sunny: <...Where'd that door come from?>

Fade: <Built it. ^_^>

Breeze: <Hm. Anyway...> -rolls out the map and starts looking for Boon Island-

Katie: So...now what.

Robin: <Would you...would you mind catching me?>

Katie: You want me to catch you?

Robin: -nods- <Yes, please.>

Katie: -begins fishing for a Pokeball-

Ichtacya — <Hello there little Eevee~> — licks absentmindedly — <I had a friend like you once... very pretty. Had a cute Flareon dad... :3> — rolls her eyes staring at nowhere, the sedative slowly passing out.

Shahinne — <I want nuts! Nuts are funny!    And the Pidgeys can watch :3   >

Aqua: <That's me, silly. > *paws at her* <And I'm a pretty Vaporeon now~>

Blossom: *tilts her head over, noticing Aqua is awake* <Oh, you two are up now.> *comes over*

Kim: *watches them silently, deciding to let them talk in peace*

Rex: *finds Shahinne evermore adorable, even with the evil voice* Okay~ *gets the bag of nuts and scoops some out for her to eat* Here you go, pretty birdie~

Sunny: <Did you find it?>

Katie: -catches Robin- Don't worry. I'll take good care of you. -pulls out her phone to call Crewe-
