Rudy: Okay, challenger! As you can see, -points- there are targets lined up all along the river! You'll be going down the river in a speedboat, and you have to destroy the targets! If you miss more than one...well, try, try again!

Shadow: <Found it.> -clicks- <Now, how do we get you in there?>

-to Rudy-

— So I have to destroy all of them? Darn... well, let's see...

-Releases [Dintel] and [Ichtacya] for the job-

Dintel — <What do we do?>

Ichtacya -tilts head- — <Is there battle?>

— No... there's a targeting session... we need to destroy some targets.

Ichtacya — <Aww...> — drops head — <But I never learnt Magical Leaf...>

— Don't worry... — picks her and Dintel up — I want you to start Poison Sting'ing and Razor Leaf'ing targets. Let's go.

-gets on the boat-

-to Shadow-

Ichtacya — <Well... uhm, look for some "type of package" section where you can fill in for a Poké Ball and then put something like "missing mon" in.>

-looks up the screen, remembers something-

Ichtacya — <Well, after that I guess you should recall me... here use this!> — produces her own Poké Ball. — <Just have your Trainer transfer me just like if you were boxing a mon, but set up PEFE as the receiver instead...>

-the boat starts speeding along. As it goes down the stream, targets start to show up-

— There, Dintel! From up here!

-Dintel leaps to my head and from there sprays Poison Stings on the target, blasting it-

-Some random stings fly past the target, prompting a nearby non-shiny Pidgey to fly away-

-Hugs Tagg back-

I guess these last few months have been a bumpy ride for both of us...

-the targets are MERCILESSLY ANNHILATED-

Rudy: Congratulations! You've earned passage to the second portion of the Gym Challenge...

-takes out a Pokeball-

A Gym Battle, against myself!

-is sitting on a couch, bored-

-to Rudy-

— Right. If I got the rules right it's 3-on-3, announcing my types. I'm picking, let's see Ground first!

-Dintel leaps from my head and goes to sit before Rudy-

Dintel — <Oh hai!> — \\o o o/.

Maybe things will get slightly better from here on in..

-Rudy sends out a Golem- Let's do this!

Rudy: First move is yours.

-nods to Rudy-

— Dintel, go greet Golem gingerly by gravitating Brick Break. Of the attacking type~

-Dintel nods, then stands up and runs towards the Golem charging a Brick Break-

-Algira rests on my head-

-The Golem curls into a ball before the Brick Break hits, and takes massive damage...-

-however, it uses the force to bounce off a nearby rock and charge Dintel with a Rollout-

Golem: <Sorry about this, little guy! Nothing personal!>

-Dintel blinks-

— oops Dintel! Defense Curl away...!

Dintel — <Eeeeep~!> — curls into a ball that is kicked away by the rampaging Golem.

Algira — <You have something better planned, right?>

— Oh please, of course ...and Poison Sting it!

-Dintel is too busy rolling around to safety though-

-Golem takes some damage from the Poison Sting, but not a lot, and continues rolling around, trying to connect with Dintel-

Golem: <I don't want to hurt you, if you'll stay still this'll all be over more quickly!>

— Dintel! Go back and land a Rock Smash on the Golem!

Dintel — <...But don't wanna!> — uncurls and sees the impending Rollout- — <Eeeep~! I'll try!>

-Dintel leaps to the air to land a Rock Smash onto the Golem as it Rollouts, resulting in Dintel being knocked around by the collision and ending up pretty much sat on the ground some meters away-

Golem: <No, stay still, not— OW!> -sent skidding back, brought into the low red, but continues building speed to tackle Dintel- <This time listen to me!>

Dintel -looks around, still sitting- — <Where did it go?>

Algira — <Duh, behind you!!!>

— Come on Dintel! Roll away and Swift it!

-Dintel turns around and tries to leap away, muzzle open, but the Golem is too fast and knocks Dintel away, leaving him sprawled on the ground-

Algira — <This was the plan? He's not doing as well as in the other battle...>

— Damn, the Golem is going too fast.

-Dintel manages to stand up, looks a bit dizzy after being swung around-

Golem: <See? It'll all be over in a sec...> -rolls towards Dintel, now moving quite fast-

I don't think I'll ever fully be the same again, not after what happened back there.

— Dintel...!

-can't give an order fast enough, this time Dintel manages to put big puppy eyes and raise a paw as if trying to hold a sign of 'hug me :3' before being run over by the Golem-

Dintel — <@_@> — faints.

Algira -pecks my head- — <You suck at this.>

— ...I didn't expect that. Then again, yeah, Dintel is lacking some training.

-recalls Dintel-

Rudy: So, who are you sending out next?
