I've gone by Anom for quite some time now. Call me what you want, both are fine.

-There were several factors to take into account of this escape attempt was to go off without a hitch.

Firstly, the guards. Off the three of them, the Dragonite seemed the strongest, but Holly, being a Dragon type, had an advantage against him. However, it did work both ways, so if a fight did break out, taking him out would be her first priority.

Slightly less worrying, but still a potential threat, was the Gallade and the Ariados, the Gallade being slightly more dangerous, as due to her Delta mutation, Holly was part Poison rather than Ground like the vast majority of her species. So if he hit her with a Psychic attack, it would hurt. Badly.

The thing was, though, that it seemed unlikely that the Gallade and the Ariados would be able to fight her in their weakened condition.

Even if she did manage to beat them, though, the noise from the scuffle would likely alert the other Pokémon on the boat to her presence. Granted, she could probably release the others to help her take them out, but considering that the three of them working together wasn't enough to beat all of those Pokémon in a fight, it didn't seem likely that her help would be enough to turn the tide.

So, if this mission was to have any chance at success, Holly would have to do everything that she could to avoid conflict.

And since it was morning, and everyone would likely be waking up soon, she would have to act quickly.

As quiet as a Pichu the Garchomp carefully tip-toe's over to the bubble containing Ferno and knocks on if with the flat of her wing, attempting to rouse the Charizard inside.-

Holly: <Ferno! Wake up!>

Ferno: -Snorts.- <Zzz...Ahaha! Yes! YES! I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD! HAHA! Zzz...>

-It seemed as Ferno was having one of his megalomaniac dreams. Typical. Unfettered, Holly knocks on the bubble again.-

Holly: <Ferno! It's me, Holly!>

Ferno: <Zzz...Uh...> -Awakens.- <Huh?>

Holly: <Ssh! Keep your voice down, you'll wake up the guards!>

Ferno: <Oh, Holly! You came!>

-The Charizard pulls himself up, grinning evily.-

Holly: <That evil grin on your face...you have an evil plan, don't you?>

Ferno: <I certainly do Holly. Now get me out of here already! If I wanted to be stuck in an enclosed space all day, I'd let a trainer catch me!>

Holly: <Whoa, hold your Ponyta! Are you alright, first? It won't be any good if I try to break you out and you guys can barely walk or something.>

Ferno: <Urgh, we're fine, Holly. It's not like they've been starving us. Although we did go for a while without any food on Saturday. But they more than made up for that. Besides, it's only been three days. Even if these guys were total jerks, three days would be nowhere near enough time to reduce us to quivering wrecks.>

Holly: <Oh, right. So you're all okay then?>

Ferno: <Yes, yes, we're fine. Now, less talking and more popping these bubbles!>

Holly: <Alright, hang on...>

-The Garchomp quickly sinks the claws on her fore-arms into the bubble, bursting it with a satisfying pop, but unfortunately spraying Ferno with droplets of soapy water.-

Ferno: <Yuck! Water...>

Holly: <Oh, it's just a bit of water, it won't kill you. Besides, doesn't your Dragon typing remove your weakness to it?>

Ferno: -Annoyed.- <Well yes, but it still feels awful! Eww...> -Shakes himself off.- <Now let's hurry up and get the others out of here, then we can- >

Stratus: <OUCH!!!>

-Ferno, not looking where he was going, had accidenttly stood stepped on Stratus tail, awakening the Dragonite...-

???: <HALT!>

-Faster than he can react, Ferno finds himself pinned to the wall by Guardé.-

Guardé: <Who let you out?!>

Holly: <So much for subtlety...>

-Keeping calm under pressure, Holly attempts to release Thyme and Tempest, only to be shot with by some stickly tread and pulled to the floor.-

Holly: <OOF! What the-?!>

Chord: <My guess is, Guardé? This girl had something to do with it.>

Guardé: <Oh!> -To Stratus.- <Stratus! Go and get help!>

Stratus: <Right!>

Holly: <Oh, no you don't!>

-Holly quickly pulls herself up and leaps at Stratus, knocking over and pinning him to the floor.-

Stratus: <URK! GUYS! HELP!!!>

Holly: <...Darn it.>

Ferno: <Oh, well done. Now they all know we're here...>

Kim: *marvels at the size of the city* Wow...this place is huge...

Rex: *grins* It's got nothing on Goldenrod.

Kim: *eye roll* You always say that.

Rex: You haven't seen Goldenrod.

Ribbons: <Seems she's got the wild Pokémon helping her now... But that doesn't really help much, assuming the theory about a wild sea Pokémon having taken the amulet turns out to be true.>

<Mike: "Eh. Tracer got a little upset at me getting into a fight with Richard aboard a rocket.">

<Kyle: "You what? ">

<Mike: "It wasn't anything special, one thing just led to another.">

<Pascal: "Oh wait, dude... So that's the thing that the interns at the legal department were complaining about...">

<AU!Buggy: "I just go with what you and the lizard call me, so 'Buggy'...">

<Buckley: "I thought that he would have gone with one of the other suggestions... I mean I'd think that Drye or Rasp would be a much better name...">

<Manasa: "Let him pick his name on his own. Besides, he can change it later if he doesn't like it.">

<Gligar!Vlad: "There! Now... Try whatever it is that you'd normally do when you'd fly!">

<Speck: "... B-But... I can't...">

<Gligar!Vlad: "Just try it! You have a gas bladder or something, don't you?">

-Finds himself floating a couple inches off of the floor, and then drops back down out of shock-

<Manasa: "It's just the way that they work.">

-A group of three other Pokemon draw near-

<Conkeldurr: "Hey, Speckle! Or whatever it was that you're calling yourself now. Break ended 10 minutes ago!">

<Eelektross: "Yeah, get your tail into- ... You look ridiculou- OW!">

-Is swatted by a Steelix-

<Steelix: "Can't you ever be pleasant? I would have thought that those two lizards would have knocked some sense into you!">

<Conkeldurr: "So are you and those kids going to help or what?">

<Buckley: "Yeah, yeah, we're coming, just chill.">

<Steelix: "Oh, also, a couple of the interns from the medical ward said that they wanted to see you sometime later today.">

Kim: But I don't see why you feel the need to compare everything to Goldenrod.

Rex: It's the third largest city in all of the regions as of the last few years.
