-finishes up fighting an extra large Charizard, and a large chest appears-

-opens it, looking for the new item I know is inside-

Rex: *gets out of bed with a yawn; looks back and sees that Kahoni and Kamoku are still asleep* Hmm...I hope they don't mind if I look around the island without them. *hops from the boat, stepping onto the island shakily; pulls out his notepad and begins to write*

"Fire Island: Home of Moltres, bringer of spring. While the outer rim of the island seems to be mostly stone, there appears to be more abundant plant life closer in..."

Rex: *continues mumbling to himself as he walks onto the island*

-has August and June out-

August:<What's with the boat?>

Just watch.

-writes down Bidoof. A random Bidoof Appears-

Bidoof: <Huh, wha-?> -looks around-<This isn't Sinnoh..> August: <Where'd that Bidoof come from?>

June: -looks at the notebook- <Is that the notebook that that kid dropped yesterday? >

Yeah.

-erases "Bidoof" from the notebook-

-Bidoof is teleported back to Sinnoh-

Huh.

June: <Are you sure you should be messing with that? It obviously warps reality...>

-Erases the boat doodle. The boat vainishes-

Hmm...... Maybe.

Fire island

- September, March, October, and April are all wandering around-

September:<Guys, I think we're lost.>

March: <Jeez, Where is everyone!?>

April: -Notices Rex- <Hmm? Oh!> -Taps March- <I -I think Star knows him!>

October: <Oh, Yeah, it's the guy with the Mienfoo!> -flies over-

March: <Hey, Wait!> -folows-

-Beat continues spinning, blowing the spores away, and the Blackglasses he has defend his eyes from the Flash. He then delivers a rolling kick to the Leafeon, before jumping back-

Beat: <Gee, thanks ladies. Yuh givin' me a way bettuh wuhkout than that gym leaduh did!>

Rex: ...presumably, grass-types are abundant on this island, though I wonder how they cope with being on the island of a fire-type. More in-depth research is necessary. *continues scribbling before noticing something flying over to him* Is that a Mismagius? I didn't figure them to be the types for this kind of climate. *shrugs and tries to communicate with it* Don't mind me, I'm just looking around. I won't bother anything.

-Ichtacya holds her breath and digs her nose into the ground to avoid the spores, but Algira is not as lucky-

Algira — <Ugghhh..~> — Algira is paralyzed — <Didn[']t expect that...> — coughs.

-Ichtacya is kicked away but manages to roll back to standing position-

Ichtacya — <I see you like to spin. Well I [can] spin too!>

-Ichtacya leaps in the air and Swords Dances her way into an Iron Tail, hitting Beat and pushing him into the ground just as the Pokémon had leapt away-

Algira — flutters around with difficulty — <...Ouch... This is so unnice.> — flashes annoyingness — <Ichtacya, get out!> — spins and launches an Air Slash at both Pokémon.

Ichtacya — notices — <Eeeeek~!> — leaps into the air trying to avoid the attack — <Are you [   insane   ]?>

October: <Hey Rex! Remerber me? October?>

April: <Hi again...>

Rex: ...! Oh, you're Star's Pokemon, aren't you? Did you know that she turned into a Shinx? Pretty weird, actually. Though, I turned into a Spinda, so I can't really say much...

- Still relaxing in bed, wondering if I should call someone, or let one of my Pokémon out of their pokeballs, but decides not to, as I don't want to disturb Anom, who is still asleep -

-march walks over-

March: <Wait, you know about that?>

Rex: Yeah. I traded her for a Blitzle and helped her change back. She never did apologize for zapping me, though... Anyway, what are you guys doing here? Shouldn't you be with her?

September: <We were looking for help, but since she's back to normal...>

March: <This was a complete waste of time.> -facepalms- <Do you know what Island she's on?>

- Still relaxing -

(thinking) Feels good to just relax once in a while...

- Glances over at Anom -

Hmm... The amulet may be lost, but maybe one of the legendaries could return Anom to normal?

- Thinks for a moment -

... The only one I can think of is Arceus himself, but I don't have his phone number...

-Tagg is hit by the Iron Tail, but his spinning allows him to roll with the blow, and avoid getting badly hurt. He then uses Rapid Spin to get into the air, narrowly dodging the air slash-

Beat: <Hey, not bad, not bad!>

Uh... Yes!

(thinking) Hmm... If he comes in here, then what do I do about Anom? He/she didn't want anyone to find out until he/she was ready...

... Then again, Tagg probably already knows, doesn't he?

Uh... If you can come in? Just a moment...

(thinking) Hmm... Do I let him in? He might need to talk to me about something, but Anom... Then again, Tagg might already know from his aura... or, does he? What if he doesn't know and I end up accidentally breaking the promise I made not to tell anyone about Anom's current condition until he/she's ready?

-Waits outside-

Well, I already know about Anom's...accident,if that's what she's worried about. He'd better not be stupid and pull another Oblivia.

- After a few seconds, decides to assume that he knows and let him in -

Hey DS, do you feel like having me get a look inside your mindscape at the moment?

- Thinks for a moment -

Um... I guess its okay? I don't really have anything better to do at the moment.

Now don't take this the wrong way, I kind of need to hold your head still while I do this, since it's a bit different from just reading someone's mind.

-Places both my hands on DS' head and focuses, entering her mind-

-Algira tries to fly towards Beat and unleash a Bubblebeam to slow it down, but suddenly feels like she can't pull off the move-

Ichtacya — frowns — <Bad for you, trapped in midair...> — swings her body to unleash a barrage of Razor Leaves after Beat.

Algira — shaking herself — <Ugh.... Ichtacya, you have to slow him down!> — buzzes furiously, thinking — <Where is friggin' Maekrite when you need him?>

-Copahue observes carefully and narrows his eyes at Algira having been weakened, while Shahinne flies up to him to observe too, not really understanding what is going on-

Murcott Island

-The [Wartortle] and a group of wild mons are talking to one of the lead Prinplup of the migrating group, about how nice things are usually in the north, were it not for...-

Prinplup — <But then you know, this [monster] came to the islands...> — shakes heads — <We don't know exactly what it is though, only that it invaded an island to the North and only a Nuzleaf survived.>

Wartortle — is taken aback, sits on the sand — <What, seriously? That's just... wrong!>

Prinplup — <Yeah, he survived to this monster eating the wild mons whole. He managed to pass the news to a couple of Pidgeot [before] passing away, and one of them informed us.>

Wailord from the Beach — <Guys? I don't think that was in the original story...>

Wartortle — <But, did he as least managed to pass down a description? Or where it was heading to?>

Prinplup — <Not really... big eyes wooden monster that glares Pokémon to paralyze them and eat [them] whole by hundreds, that's most of what we know...> — shrugs — <And it could be heading anywhere, truly!>

-Some Beautifly and Primeape tremble and pass out at the realization-

Gyarados from the Beach — <We met a group of Taillow sending the news to the west islands anyway. But I think it would be good if [someone] sent news to the largest island...>

Wartortle — <Well that's what I'm here for!> — pounds chest — <I'll carry this very important news to Mandarin and we will be ready [for] when that horrible monster comes!>

DS' mindscape

- The scenery of the outer layer of DS' mindscape is quite beautiful, despite the rather odd layout of things. It appears to be both summer and winter at the same time, with patches of snow spread across a green field full of flowers at random. Another notable things is the giant pieces of crumpled up paper laying scattered around the place in random spots -

- Inner Child is looking out at her snow sculptures, still sitting near the tree that has the phrases "Not Good Enough", "Need To Make It Even Better" and variations of such carved into it all over -
