It all feels so different... my balance is way off center... my chest hurts... my clothes don't fit my body at all...

Hmm... Maybe we should get you some different clothes, then?

Several minutes later, the dance winded down, Rex taking the opportunity to slip away from the group.

"Ugh...I hate dancing," he mumbled. "I thought I was going to die of embarrassment..."

"Hey, where are you going?" someone called, and Rex cringed, fearing that it was the woman again. However, he turned to see that it was one of the female dancers who'd called out to him. A male dancer accompanied her over, both of them stopping in front of him. "You can't leave yet. Not until you show us that dance again~"

"It was one of a kind," the male said.

"Never seen anything like that before," the girl agreed.

Rex felt his eye twitch, resisting the urge to let out Rascal and show them a real flaming dance. "Mrrggh..."

"Hey hey," the male said, noticing his anger. "We're only teasing. You did pretty good, to be honest."

"Yeah. Most visitors freeze on the spot when Kala grabs them up like that," the girl said with a smile.

"...Thanks, I guess," Rex sighed, letting go of his anger. "So, what kind of festival is this, anyway?"

"You've never heard of the Festival of Flames?" the girl asked.

"It's one of the various rituals we celebrate on Shamouti Island," the male added. "This particular festival is meant to honor Moltres, bringer of Spring."

"Moltres?" Rex asked. "Is it here?"

"Well, yes and no," the girl giggled. "Moltres roosts on Fire Island around this time of year. ...By the way, I noticed that you were a trainer." Her eyes narrowed suddenly, her tone becoming menacing. "You weren't planning on    CATCHING    it, were you?"

Rex put up his hands as if trying to ward the girl off. "N-no...I wouldn't dream of it."

"Good!" she chirped, reverting back to her normal self. "It'd be really bad if you did."

'...Note to self: watch out for island girls.'

...I'm going to have to wear girl's clothing, aren't I...?

I'm sure we can find something you feel at least somewhat comfortable in...

It just sounds like it will be really weird, physically uncomfortable or not. I mean, I'm not supposed to be wearing one of those...

-Manages to get up without an issue, heads to the front of the boat again to think-

<Ouch... Harsh day yesterday... Don't know if Anom and Fool will ever trust me again...>

-Looks at my hand, then moves a bit of hair around to the front and looks at that-

<I mean, I've prepared for something like this... But those two... They pretty much have to relearn their entire lives...>

-Looks back along the boat at where Daisy is sleeping-

<And I sorta dread what Daisy's going to think...>

I see this'll take a while to get used to...

... Well, you might be female now, but you're still you. It's still your body, even if it looks different now.

But that's still really embarassing! How am I going to shower? Or use the bathroom? Or anything like that!

Hmm... Yeah, I see that is going to be some of the potentially awkward things you'll have to face...

-Glances at the ground nervously-

Kim turned carefully on the Mantine's back, looking at the Minun behind her. "Hey, little guy. You alright?"

The Minun tilted his head back, looking up at her curiously. <I'm okay. Just wondering where we're going is all.>

Kim's gaze turned to meet Clover's, the bunny Pokemon nodding her head gently. <We're not sure yet, to be honest. But don't worry; as soon as you heal up, you can go back home.>

Minun frowned, crawling across the Mantine's back and up Kim's leg. <Back to Holon?>

<Don't you want to go back?> Clover asked.

<Not really,> Minun sighed. <If I go back, I might mutate even worse. And I can't go back to Hoenn like this... What would the other Minun say?>

Clover leapt down from Kim's back, hopping up to the Minun and placing a gentle paw on his head. <Well, if you don't want to go back to Holon or Hoenn...why don't you stay with us?>

Minun blinked, staring at them curiously. <Wh-what?>

Clover grinned, laying down on her belly, holding her head up with her paws. <Be a Ranger Pokemon. It's a ton of fun! And the more special abilities you have, the better you're appreciated~>

Minun put a blue paw to his lips, thinking the offer over. <I dunno...>

<You'll get a lot of good food,> Clover tempted. <Have you ever had milk pudding? It's amazing.>

-Goes to the Pokécenter to fetch Dintel back, then heal Algira and Ichtacya-

Nurse — smiles — Thank you! We hope to see you again!

-stares at her murderously-

-A couple of minutes [later] at a bench, I release [Dintel], [Shahinne], [Copahue], [Algira] and [Ichtacya].-

Copahue — looks around — <Oh? A-Are we flying soon?>

Ichtacya — <What did that girl of the Pokémon Gym say? :3>

Shahinne — yawns — <Food?>

-Copahue picks Shahinne up-

— Well... I've been thinking that these vacations might be abit boring for you so far...

-Most of the Pokémon shake their head, only Dintel mumbles for a moment before nodding-

Shahinne — <We could go on exploring...>

Ichtacya — <I want to meet more Pokémon!>

Algira — <Where is Helios?>

Copahue — <So long as I'm not a HM slave...?>

Dintel — draws lines on the ground — <I want a desert...>

-sighs-

— Well, I have a suggestion for you. But for this to work, I'll need all of you to agree... in particular you two. — glares at Algira and Ichtacya.

Ichtacya — <Err....> — blushes.

Algira — <You better learn plant dog because I'm' the team leader, tee hee~>

— So, I need to give Shahinne proper training, not to mention get Lileep more used to us and to people in general. — points at Dintel — And get some of you back into shape.

Dintel — blinks — <But I've always been round...> — tilts head.

-Copahue does something close to a chirp-laugh-

— So I was thinking what about if we go taking the Gym Challenge?

-My Pokémon start looking at each other-

Dintel — <That means battles!>

Copahue — <I'm not sure the little girl is in shape yet to handle many battles...>

Shahinne — flies above the Fearow — <Hey! I can peck a lot!>

Algira — flutters around — <   SILENCE EVERYBODY!   >

-The other four Pokémon lower their heads, although Ichtacya slyly scratches her ear-

— It's not only battles though... well, [none] of you were with me by the time I did Conference Runs, but... unlike the Gyms back at the continent, here the challenges are [different].

Copahue — <Different how?>

— Well, from what I read there are races, quizzes, tag battles and some other sort of stuff...

Ichtacya — <Sounds like a good way [to] give Shahinne and Lileep all sorts of training...>

Algira — <And it means we would still go exploring, right?>

— Yeah, actually we'll have to [pretty] much surf a circle around the archipelago.

Shahinne — <Let's go explore lots of forests! We can meet more Sewaddle~!>

Copahue — <Perhaps we can meet that weird wood monster everymon is talking about...>

Algira — <And meet Tagg and the [others] again!> — flashes happiness.

Dintel — keeps drawing circles in the ground — <...I still don't like the sea...>

— Well?

Copahue — tilts head — <So we will all go fighting right?>

— Well... — crosses arms — Not Lileep, obviously, but he can still socialize.

Copahue — <So we're including that [mon] you're keeping hidden from us?>

-stares-

-Copahue stares back-

-Ichtacya looks with interest while Shahinne chirps happily-

Shahinne — <Haven't seen him in a lot yes! Ever since the [big bird~]!>

-I make a gesture to Shahinne and she returns to Copahue's crest-

— I'll give you a couple of minutes to think about this while I go fetch food and stuff, right? Algira and Dintel, take care of the group.

-Dintel waves a goodbye while Algira goes distract Shahinne. Ichtacya and Copahue just look at me as I walk to the supermarket-

Hmm... I'm not really sure about this myself. Back when Wolf got turned into a girl it was... not me who taught him how to be female.

- Coughs -

But don't worry, I'm sure I can help you.

... Um... You're feeling a bit too awkward about your new body to try finding new clothing at the moment, aren't you?

I... guess...

But these clothes really don't fit at all. It's actually starting to hurt now...

Except my socks and shoes, those still fit. Not anything else though.
