Gym... Badges? I was under the impression that gyms were solely for training the mind and body through exercise.

-Inside the large circular chamber is a big pile of Nanab berries, our Pokeballs resting nearby them-

Tulip: <We've finally found them, yes!>

Odette: <Yay!>

-The various instrumental Claydols, all looking rather angry, float out from behind the pile. Up above, a massive Claydol floats down and makes a guttural noise toward us-

...The leader, huh?

- Nods -

Yeah, so it seems.

- Odette and Tulip exchange glances -

Tulip: <Are you ready, yes?>

Odette: (nods)

Receptionist: Where did this guy live, the middle of nowhere? Not these kinds of Gym. Here you do challenges to prepare yourself and your Pokemon for the Pokemon League.

Luana: Alakazam, use Psychic on the Combusken! Marowak, use Bone Club on the Golurk!

-Alakazam blasts Limna with a telekinetic wave, while Marowak shoots Sentinel with a cryokinetic blast-

Limna: -Is relatively unhurt- <Was that supposed to hurt or something?>

Sentinel': -Looses about half of his health- <So cold...>

Alazakam: <What?>

Marowak: <Told you she was some sort of freak.>

Limna: -Looks like she's about to cry-

Okay, I don't feel like dicking around today, that Marowak goes down now.

Limna, use Double kick, Sentinel use Dynamic Punch! Both on the Marowak!

Marowak: -Eyes widen- <Oh cr->

-Is sent flying by both attacks and collides with the arena wall, fainted-

Luana: -Blinks- I don't know what that was about, but I think I'll need to talk to my Marowak afterwards. Since you knocked out one of my Pokemon, it's my duty to give you the Jade Star Badge.

-Takes the Badge-

-The iPhokex plays the Shine Get music-

-The top of the Claydol opens up, and the smaller ones begin tossing Nanabs in, as well as the Pokeballs-

-The large Claydol then spews Nanab juice from the top, coating the smaller Claydol and transforming them into two larger Claydol hands for himself to use-

This looks tough...

-It uses its newly formed hands to make a challenging gesture-

-I wake up in a hotel room, not knowing why I'm here-

How'd I get-Oh, it must have been Mezzo and Every. I fell asleep on the way back I guess.

Aurora:<Imagine if you were still there on your birthday.>

Aurora, someone would notice by then. I mean, wouldn't you notice someone has been missing for a week?

Odette: <We can beat it!>

Tulip: <... Well, at least we have the type advantage, yes...>

-The Claydol begins trying to crush and maul us with its new hands-

Hey! Maybe we could take out the hands first?

Odette: (makes some sort of hissing noise at the hand)

-Together, we're able to break the hand apart, the Claydol growling in frustration and trying to smash DS with his other hand-

Ah!

- Moves out of the way -

Odette: (fires another Water Gun at the remaining hand)

Tulip: <... Odette, that didn't work the first time you did it, so why would it work now, yes?>

Last night, Dream World

Swampert!Tagg: <Welcome to the Dream World Tangent.>

Thresher: -Ambles along somewhat clumsily in his new form- <Walking takes getting used to.>

Kumquat Gym

Receptionist: Here in the Orange League there are four Gyms including this one. Whoever wins all four gets to face the Head Leader Drake on Pummelo Island.

-Meanwhile-

Limna: -Still looks rather down-

Victini: <That Marowak was such a jerk.>

Muddy: <You're telling me, good thing Limna and Sentinel curb stomped him like that.>

-The wet hands becomes sluggish and mushy-

Maybe Tulip could finish that hand?
