The Dream World? Sounds interesting... though I'll admit, I've never gotten a clear explanation of it.

Basket: <I've never been properly woken up there... though once or twice I've had these sort of lucid images of it, I guess.>

Abigail: <Err... actually, Thresher woke me up there a few days ago...>

Pankaja: <And then she found me!>

Rufus: <Hey, wait, why wasn't I informed?>

So, I fall asleep with the armband on?

Lyra: *bites her lip to hide her laughter*

Rex: *standing by the beach, the waves splashing at his shoes* Ready, Aqua?

Aqua: *nods* <Mhm.>

Rex: Okay. Here we go. *kneels down, holding out the Waterstone*

~Aqua steps forward, the stone glowing a bright blue; rays of light from the sun seep into the stone, casting a rippling blue effect over Aqua’s fur; she opens her eyes wide, her fur falling away and slowly being replaced with blue scaly skin; fins poke out from underneath her collar before it too falls away, matching the new shape of her ears; finally, her tail elongates, the tip splitting off into two directions~

Rex: Wow…

Rascal: <Aqua…>

Minty: <She looks so…grown up…>

Aqua: *smiles serenely* <I hope you all like the new me.>

~Congratulations, your Eevee evolved into Vaporeon!~

~Star and Ori suddenly disappear~

Rex: ...

Lyra: ...

-Is busy looking for Tangent-

-Spots a sleeping Tropius nearby-

<Oh, there he is.>

-Floats over and starts shaking Tangent-

~In the Mikan Poke Center~

Rex: You’re leaving too?

Lyra: Yeah. I have to leave today; otherwise, I won’t make it back in time for my shift at the daycare.

Rex: *disappointed* Oh…

Lyra: It was fun hanging out with you again. *hugs him* Try not to get into any trouble, okay? Your mom would kill me if you did.

Rex: *rolls his eyes and hugs back* Sure thing.

Lyra: *lets go* Alright. Later, Rex! *heads out the center doors*

Rex: *sighs* And just like that, I’m alone again…

Aqua: <You’re not alone, grandpa.> *nuzzles against his leg*

Minty: <You still have us!>

Rascal: <We’re still sticking with you.> *wags tail*

~Rex uses the PC before heading out, deciding to head to another island~

Aqua: *as they surf away on Laplace* <Hey, grandpa, weren’t you going to challenge the gym here?>

Rex: Well, I was, but this new ability to talk to Pokémon seems like it’d be a better way to use my time, don’t you think?

Laplace: <Speak to Pokémon?> *tilts his head*

Rex: *grins* You’ve missed some things, Laplace.

Current Team: Rascal the Flareon, Aqua the Vaporeon, Minty the Sewaddle, Lian the Mienfoo, Laplace the Lapras, and Spathi the Shelgon

~Meanwhile in the lobby of the Holon Inn~

Kim: Replacement?! I thought you were giving me back-up!

Keith: *puts his hands up in a placating manner* W-well, you are supposed to be on vacation…

Kim: But I’m already on active duty!

Keith: Unofficially. You’re supposed to be on vacation anyway…y’know, because of your-

Kim: I can handle this! *crosses her arms and glares* I’m more than capable of pulling my weight, despite that!

Keith: *sighs * Well, Prof. Hastings said that he wants me on this mission alone…but confidentially speaking, I heard that there were rumored sightings of a Delta Pokémon lurking around in the Orange Islands.

Kim: … *raises an eyebrow* Really?

Keith: Yeah; a Feraligatr that shoots electricity or something.

Kim: Hmm… it’s not the target, but it might be related. I’ll be sure to look into it. *hugs Keith* Thanks for the tip! *runs off*

Keith: …I wish you’d take it easy, Kim. We’re all worried about you…

Ranger Gurl 342: Maria, do you think you can get me to the Orange Islands?

Maria: *appears in front of Kim suddenly; speaking telepathically* <Are you doing well, Kim?>

Kim: Of course. Never better!

Maria: *smiles, albeit somewhat worriedly* <Just don’t push yourself too hard.>

Kim: I’m fine…really.

Maria: <If you say so.> *places a hand on Kim’s shoulder* <I have a fix on a location in the islands, though I’m not sure if it’s where your target is.>

Kim: That’s alright. I should be able to manage travel from there.

Maria: <Very well.> *her gaze flickers over to Blossom, Clover, and the Minun covered in blankets* <And which of your partners shall you be taking with you?>

Kim: Hmm…well, I still need to help Minun get healthy again; poor thing has a cold.

Minun: *sneezes another Ice Beam*

Kim: For now, I think I’ll take Clover with me. Blossom probably wouldn’t handle being around ice too well.

Blossom: *nods*

Kim: After this is all over, though, I’ll be sure to drop Minun back off in Holon.

Maria: <Alright; I and Blossom will remain in contact in the event you need us. Prepare for teleportation.> *a blue sphere of energy surrounds them both*

~Clover grabs Minun and moves closer into the sphere, along with Blossom; there is a flash of light and then the five are gone; when Kim reappears, she is outside of Mikan’s Poke Center~

Kim: Hmm…better ask around. *heads inside*

Current Team: Clover the Buneary, Sick Minun (Delta; Ice)

- Is asleep -

- Odette has somehow managed to get out of her Dream Ball at some point during the night, and has now released Tulip from her Love Ball as well -

Tulip: (has her eyes closed) <... Are you sure we're safe, yes?>

Odette: (nods) <Yep! We're out of the hot place! You can open eyes now!>

Tulip: (opens her eyes slowly, taking a look around) <... Good. I don't like fire, yes.>

Odette: (shrugs)

-Wakes up-

Geez... I keep falling asleep...

- Is still asleep -

Tulip: <... Odette, do you think I'm a coward, yes?>

Odette: (tilts head slightly) <Quack?>

Tulip: (sighs) <Even though Chase once told my other self I had potential to become a great fighter, I don't know if he was really right or not, yes. I may have been with the Resistance, but only because that was the only place where I could be safe, yes...>

Odette: (pats Tulip's back)

Tulip: <... Odette, what do you think, yes? Do you think a clumsy little Petilil like me can actually become a great fighter like Chase said, yes?>

Odette: (nods her head)

Tulip: <... Well, then... I guess I'll take your word for it, yes!>

Odette: (happily) <Quack!>

-to the nurse whose name I won't lean down to the nametag to check, not this time, buh-

— ...so I am bringing in some Pokémon for trade, I guess it could be an interesting experience for novice trainers around here. I would be allowed to do that, right?

Nurse ???? — I don't think so. When you are ready you can just use that space there — points to a random sofa — and I can let interested Trainers know.

-I send out Ichtacya and Algira to make me company, they look around not understanding-

Ichtacya the Leafeon — <What are we going to do here?>

— We're gonna convince people that trading Pokémon is interesting, mostly...

Ichtacya — <Yay! :3> — goes happily walk around the place.

-Algira the Masquerain goes on to chit chat with a random kid's Beedrill, who comments on very important news of a strange wood creature as large as a Gyarados who eats bugs-

Algira — <....But that's terrible!>

-I set up my stuff and after a couple of minutes, a transfer of a [briefcase] of Pokéballs comes along. I pick up up and start placing some Pokémon pictures [around] for showcase-

Wonder what can I trade poor Star for...

Maekrite — <Remember to ask for the [armband]! ...Oh wait, can't listen from here....>
