Rex: *frowns a little at his response* Well...I kind of wanted to do them as soon as I could.

Rex: *thinking* ...Silent, I can trust you, right? *reaches onto his belt for Laplace's ball and looks at the Pokemon inside*

Laplace: *smiles and nods*

Rex: If you really need to get around, I can lend you Laplace for a while...just until you get another water Pokemon. He seems to feel at ease around you, but he's still kind of shy around humans so treat him nice...okay?

~After the conversation with Silent~

Rex: *waves goodbye to Silent and his mons, the recently withdrawn Alfonse clamping onto his shoulders again*

Aqua: <Bye, Ichtacya! Bye, Dintel!>

Minty: <Bye, Dintel!>

Rex: See you in a few days. *smiles and disappears in a burst of light*

~Kumquat Island~

Rex: Well, we're back here again. I think he said that Mikan was the closest gym. I guess we'd better...fly over there.

Alfonse: *speaking telepathically* <Don't worry, Rex. I won't drop you this time.>

Rex: *yelps as they take off again; completely fails to notice a sign saying "Kumquat Gym 3 miles North."*

-The Dragonite opens his mouth, allowing me to pour the medicine in for him. Stratus nearly gags at the awful taste, but manages to swallow it.-

-Stratus jumps up, now looking fully better.-

Woolly: <Yay! You're all better!>

Stratus: <Yep! Boy, that stuff works really well!>
