-surfaces and clings to Slam, keeping the Quagsire between him and Chord-

Breeze: <He's fine, don't worry.>

Harriet: -To Every.- <Sorry about your Drifblim. She'll be okay, right?>

Guardé: <She's lucky you got to her first...> -Sheaths his arm blades.-

She'll be fine. Sorry about her, she eats fear.

-climbs back onto Slam-

Treeo: <She eats fear? Like Hallow?>

Harriet: <Now there's a pair that I hope never meet.>

Pleo: <...Hallow?>

Lake: <She's a Mismagius that's on our team.>

"Yeah. She enjoys playing tricks on peoplemons, too."

Pleo: <Oh...Wait, you have more Pokémon, Luke?>

"Yep. Quite a few actually."

Pleo: <Oh, cool! Can I meet them?>

"Hmm...Maybe at some point. We'll have to see."

-Is now just looking at the water-

Izzie: <Let's go!>

-she takes off and shoots after Cesar and I-

-meanwhile...-

Hey, Cesar. See that spot there? Where there aren't any trees? Pull up and fly over it. High enough they won't see you have a rider.

Cesar: -nods once and speeds upwards, then levels out and circles the small area, staring at the ground-

-the clearing is crawling with Pokemon, and I can feel Cesar trembling-

Ian: <Sentries! A bunch of Pidgeys down below. They're about to take off and come see what we're doing.>

Time to look inconspicuous. Cesar, move off.

-he continues circling. I thump his shoulder and lean forward-

Cesar, if you ever want to see your trainer again, you have to listen to us. If those sentries spot us, we're done for. You see all those Pokemon down there? They'll come after us. Move off.

-after a moment's hesitation, he turns away from the clearing and flies out farther over the jungle-

-has managed to regain most of his composure-

You have a Mismagius? Wow, I hope they never meet Fade.

Speaking of sleeping...

Tired, huh? Well, I guess we can continue the adventure tomorrow.

- Glances over at Tulip and Odette, noticing that the two of them have fallen asleep -

Tulip will probably be in better shape for potential battles if she gets a little more rest anyways.

Woolly: <Yeah, she's a bit of a meanie. She and Phantom apparently popped the Oblivia Beasts' Bubble Fort back at the Gold Conference, just because they thought it would be funny! Talk about low!>

Pleo: <Huh? Oblivia Beasts? Bubble Fort?> -Tilts his head.-

Chord: -Shrugs.- <I dunno either, kid. And I've heard this story hundreds of time before.>

I have no idea where that tunnel up there will open out to...
