<Nadia: "Zzz... He really is adorable, isn't he? Zzz...">

<Toothless: "Yeah... I wonder why it is that we keep getting sucked into these crazy shenanigans though...">

Tom: "So... I guess this is goodbye for now, Tracer."

"Yeah, I guess it is... Thanks for coming out here with us."

Tom: "Well, I wouldn't be much of an intern if I didn't help, would I? And Rena, Nibbler, and that Marowak you left with me seemed to enjoy it."

<Nibbler: "Hey! Getting chased by angry swarms of Ledyba was not fun!">

<Kit: "To be fair, if you had been a little more prudent...">

<Rena: "Yeah, you kinda brought that on yourself, Nibbler.">

Tom: "I couldn't help but notice that you've seemed troubled about something in the last month... Is something wrong?"

"... You wouldn't believe it if I told you, Tom... I've gotten sucked into a lot of crazy things since Fiore..."

Tom: "Oh... Well... If you ever change your mind... I'll be there to talk about it with you. I'd also volunteer my Pokemon, but I don't think you'd get anywhere with them..."

<Iggy: "Heh... He'd get a bit farther than you think...">

"I'll keep it in mind, Tom. I guess we'll be seeing each other soon."

Tom: "Yeah, take care of yourself. I should probably be heading for the ferry terminal with these guys."

<Thog: "Goodbye, everyone.">

<Teala: "Yeah, it was nice meeting you all!">

<Rena: "Well, if we don't meet in the field anytime soon, there's always the labs.">

<Kit: "Wherever life takes you, we'll be looking forward to hearing about it.">

<Nibbler: "... Uh... Just try and keep us away from places with Marowak, okay? No offense, Kit...">

<Rena: "(*groan*) At least you're improving... Marginally...">

-Tom and I go our separate ways along with the Pokemon accompanying us-

Ribbons: (notices Milo and Audrey) <Oh, hi there.>

<Audrey: "Oh hey.">

<Milo: "Wait, don't you travel with DS? Is she around or something?">

-Decides to shrink back while the others are talking-

Ribbons: <Yes, I do travel with DS. However, she is not here at the moment.>

<Audrey: "Ah... Also, is something wrong, Tagg? You seem withdrawn...">

<Milo: "Well gee, what tipped you off for that one?">

<Audrey: "If you don't can it, I'll tip you off as to what tipped me off! And it won't feel good!">

I figured I'd stay quiet while you were talking.

Aqua: *happily nuzzles against Ichtacya*

Rex: So, Silent, is Shahinne alright? It seemed like Ichtacya was getting some medicine for her.

<Audrey: "Oh. Well... You don't have to talk with us...">

<Milo: "It's just that we thought that you might like it...">

— Well, she's better now. Got the worst end of a Dark Pulse attack. — narrows eyes — Cursed' Zoroarks. Even now they are out to harm us.

-Ichtacya delivers some other noms and then returns to where Rascal is sitting-

Rex: *tactfully decides not to mention his own Zoroark* Well, she certainly seems hap- Eating Caterpie?

Rascal: *smiles at Ichtacya*

Aqua: *laying on his back*

— Yeah, well, she's a bird. It's just that Algira there — points at own Masquerain — has taught her to be kinda too happy-go-lucky when eating bugs.

Algira (flashes a "BUT OF COURSE!!!" pattern) — <Fresh bugs are the best noms for a growing Starly, tee hee~!>

-Ichtacya looks Rascal-

Ichtacya — <So, like, how old is Aqua? Raised by yourself?>

Rex: Y-yeah, I guess it is natural. *imagines several wide-eyed and teary Caterpie being eaten alive* ...

Anya: *unfazed about the whole bug eating thing*

Aqua: <I'm this many!> *holds up her paw*

Rascal: <She's a couple weeks old. She's been with her mother as of recently so she could breast-feed.>

Aqua: <Now I get to stay with daddy while mommy goes on an important mission!>

-Ichtacya watches Aqua lovingly as she raises a paw-

Ichtacya — <That's younger than Shahinne, then! Hey, what mission? What does he mother do?>

-Yesterday was spent training for the gym-

-Jenna is attempting to surf using Squirtle. -

Squirtle: -Moving very slowly- < You're too heavy...> -swims in a circle-

Rascal: *nuzzles against his daughter* <A Pokemon Ranger protects the environment. I'm not sure where she is now, though.>

Aqua: <Oh oh! I know! It's a big city, with lots of machines!>

Rascal: <Oh? What's the name of it?>

Aqua: <Ummm...I forget!>

<Nadia: "So where are we going from here, Lake...?">

<Gene: "Yeah, we know that Pleo wanted to get out and see things and all... But where exactly are we taking him?">

Lake: <Well, before we can take Pleo anywhere, we need to go and ask King Nautilus about this whole thing, first. I can't imagine he would be very happy if we just took him away without asking first.>

Woolly: <Do you think he'll let us, though? Plus there's all the Reef Pokémon to consider. Will they really be so keen on a few Pokémon from the surface taking Pleo away for a while?>

Pleo: <Oh, you don't need to worry about that, Woolly! All I need to do is tell them where they're going, and I'm sure they'll be okay with it!>

"Are you sure, Pleo?"

Pleo: -Nods.- <Positive! So you just leave them to me, okay?>

"Okay, if you're sure."

Harriet: -A bit fidgety.- <Can we get going? I'd like to get back up to the surface sooner rather than later. No offense, Pleo.>

Pleo: <None taken.>

"Alright. There's really no point in hanging around, so let's get going."

-At the reef-

<Nadia: "Lead the way then.">

<Gene: "Yeah, as nice as this place is and all, I could use a change of scenery... And a drier place to lurk around...">

I'm not much for talking Milo, never was, but I wouldn't mind if you guys stuck around.

<Milo: "Oh, I guess that's alright...">

-Ichtacya beams happiness and maternal feelings-

Ichtacya — <Awww so cute you are gonna learn city names, yes you are...> — wags tail — <I could ask Trainer for the name of the city... er...> — thinks for a moment — <oh right, he's not supposed to understand me.>

-Meanwhile, Shahinne is well fed and now decides to sleep on top of Copahue, so Dintel jumps to my head-

-to Rex-

— So, what happened to your battle? Ichtacya went to look at it but she has not indicated anything about how it went... she seems more focused on Rascal.

The Reef - Royal Tower (Some time later)

Nautilus: <Hmm...So you're proposing that you be allowed to take our prince with you as you travel around the Orange Islands?>

-The Lapras looks us all other, a slightly skeptical look on his face.-

Nautilus: <And you claim that his traveling around with several well trained Pokémon would be much safer than staying here, at the reef, under the guard of several thousand trained soldiers?> -Tilts his head.- <I fail to see the logic of this.>

Lake: <Well, look at it this way. If Pleo stays here, that Delta Feraligatr will know where he is, and will have a much easier chance of capturing him.>

Nautilus: <Even while under the Reef Guard's protection?>

Chord: <To be fair, if what Pleo has told us about them, they don't seem very capable of defending him against a Delta Pokémon.>

Guardé: <Do you doubt our abilities, King Nautilus? We are easily capable of slaying any sort of foul beast that would dare to try and take Pleo from us. And if worse does come to worse, I could fend any threat of single-handedly!>

Harriet: -Wingpalms.- <Did he lose all of his memory of that battle with the Delta Gator or something?>

Chord: <Well he did hit his head very hard.>

Nautilus: <I'm not implying that you are lacking in prowess. It's just that I'm not so keen on Pleo being taken from our kingdom, where I know for certain that he will be kept safe.>

"Hmm. That's a fair point. But maybe we should let Pleo have a say. Pleo?"

Pleo: <Can I go with them, King Nautilus? Pleeeeease?>

Nautilus: <...I'm glad that you've made some friends, Pleo. But how long can you say you've know these Pokémon for? A week? Two weeks? How can you be sure that you trust them?>

Pleo: <Well, they saved me from that mean old Feraligatr, and they brought me back here, while doing their best to keep me safe, remember?>

Nautilus: <Well, yes. I'll admit, that was very generous on the part of what were total strangers at the time. I think I speak for the whole kingdom when I say that we're all grateful for that.>

Pleo: <Not only that, but I've had SO much fun with them this week! And if they were really bad Pokémon, don't you think they would have done whatever they wanted to do with me by now?>

Nautilus: <...Hmm...They have had unrestrained access to you all of this time. If they had wanted to snatch you, or do who knows what to you, they probably would have attempted it by now, as you said...>

-Nautilus pauses to mull everything over for a few seconds, then looks at all of us.-

Nautilus: <...If I agree to let you take care of Pleo, will you promise me that you will do everything that you can to keep him safe?>

Lake: -Nods.- <Absolutely.>

"Of course!"

Stratus: <Yep! You bet we will!>

Woolly: <You can count on us, sir!>

Chord: <We'll do our best to keep the kid safe. Promise.>

Treeo: <We won't let any Delta Feraligatr get him. Not on our watch.>

Harriet: <I'll try my best to help.>

Guardé: <You have no need to fear, king Nautilus. I, the great hero Guardé, shall do my best to keep young Pleo safe!>

Nautilus: <Hmm.> -To Nadia and Gene.- <And I can assume that you two will as well? Actually...I don't remember you from the trial. Are you friends with these peoplemons?> -Tilts his head, quizzically.-
